oh!.. but can i say that the brothers made me tear last nite?... really lah!... touching siot - 2 brothers bawling!... oklah.. a bit exaggerated coz the elder one was a bit more composed but still, he cried... awwwww..... but from the start, the younger one shouldn't even be in..


anyways, the time has also come for me to deliver the babe!... the doc gave the green light to deliver next wk... he actually wanted me to deliver yesterday.. but errr... nolor!... yest was a BIG No-NO date!.... so i asked if we can risk delivering next wk instead coz me and Dearest really do prefer a Sep babe.. ;)


yes.. it was a definite risk coz at 1 day to 37wks, the babe is 3kg exactly!... i really do hope that the machine is juz an estimation and that the babe's lighter than 3kg!... i dun think i can go thru the after pain of a caesarian.. i'm such a freakin scaredy cat to go under the knife.. so, plsssss babe.. if u're going to be slightly bigger than 3kg next wk, try ur mightest to push ur way out of mama's "small pantat", k?...


so, are we excited???... hell yeah!... can't wait to see the babe!.. anyways, after wks of waddling, constant peeing, feeling like there's a freakin huge watermelon in between me legs, braxton hicks (which only hits after maghrib), i think it's high time the babe is out!.. :D i seriously dun remember gg thru these when pregnant with Eshan!..


another "big" reveal - after yet another big chg that the organisation juz went thru, i think there'll be another slightly smaller chg that's gonna happen within our small unit by the time i get back from my maternity leave.. i sure hope it goes the way me and buddy wants it to be... buddy was great in the mtg yest.. he was very vocal abt his tots which was gd coz he's definitely more eloquent than me.. plus, i hate confrontational situations!.. and yeah!.. bcoz of tat, i was (directly or not) called a coward by my boss!... but wateva lah!... my buddy conveyed my tots oredi.. so tat's wat matters... so i dun really give a fuck wat he thinks!... anyways, we'll only know in a wk or two time if our "strategy" works though i do feel a teensy-weensy bad abt all these.. baaaah!...

KEEPING AWAKE..
i'm updating to keep myself awake! ;( for the first time in his whole 15mths, Eshan woke up at 3am for milk and didn't sleep till it was time for us to go to work!.... i was disturbed with his constant movement on the bed - rolling here and there, climbing on my body, hitting me to wake me up.. urrrgghh!!..... sesungguhnya aku sungguh ngantuk sekarang!!

as it is, our love nest has kept us awake till late at nite!... we're planning to move into it this weekend.. thank god for Dearest, he cleaned - mop and vacuum the whole house last nite! LOVE U DARLING!!!!.... we've also unpacked abt 75% of our stuffs! i simply can't wait to have that week long leave next week!!..... i'm going to spend the hours lazing around with Eshan at home or by the pool!... YIPPEEEEE!!!

so, the hottest topic in town today must be on yest's results of Anugerah Band! i'm sure one of the disappointed peeps who rooted for X-tech!... :( would sure lurve for them to win it!... but well, commerical appeal still applies lah!... no doubt, Rancour did deserve to win coz they were the younger ones and most improved band of the lot.. one particular band that i heard raving reviews abt were very berTRABO yest... very disappointing!... The La Mofestas on the other hand had left no lasting impression on me - vocals not strong and the whole performance not tight.. howell!.... ape2 jelah ye... congrats to the winners!.... in my eyes, X-tech - u're still the HOTTEST band in town!... keep up the spirits!... :D

oklah... back to work! ;( i need some excitement at work!.. it's getting dreary in the office coz everybody's busy... but 1 thing to look forward to cum 1st wk of Aug!... someone's leaving the office for good and we're all GLAD tat happened! :D

BOY or GIRL???
dun think for a minute that i'm pregnant! coz i'm NOT!.. ahhahaa... but before i get to the topic proper, can i just say how in love i am with David Cook's rendition of Always Be my Baby by Mariah Carey!.... first time i heard it on Idol, dun quite like it... but when i watch the re-run, it began to rub on me.. and now, when i hear it on radio, headphone close to my ears that it hit me - i really lurve his rendition!... and his voice is oh-so-nice! :D

ok.. now, back to my topic... Ms Quirky passed me this article on gender selection!... so here's something to share with everyone who's trying out for a baby and in particular, the ones who has a gender preference! ;)

there was a study done in UK, on 740 first-time mothers. It was said that it all comes down to BANANAS!!.... it was found that women who consume more calories around time of conception, and in particular, eat more bananas, are more likely to have sons! And those who skip breakfast are more likely to have daughters!

And the study came back with 56% of women with high-calorie intake conceived boys compared to 45% of women with low-calorie intake!...

but i still do believe in the male and female sperms going after that coveted egg!... ;) my theory based on some readings..

If u wanna boy, refrain from ur nite activities before ovulation.. do it during or after ovulation. Whereas, if u wanna girl, u can have ur nitely activities even before ovulation but to remember that the sperms can only stay in there for a while - if not wrong up to 3days - depending on the quality of sperms ur hubby has! ;)

so who do u think will win it??... I'm sure by now, those peeps not working, not schooling - basically not doing anything and into AI like my brother at home - is glued to the TV, intently waiting for the results!

i hope Cook will win it coz i think overall, he's a better performer and is more versatile than Archeleta.. the latter is a cute munchkin but he needs more experience to be a good performer - he can't dance and he can't do fast tracks... he's getting duller and staler by the weeks... so, i dun really get why the judges were praising him the whole time last nite!...

on to the other not-so-HOT reality TV on Suria rite now... i'm soooo blardy disappointed at the standard of the bands... so far i'm only really impressed with 2 bands.. only a handful of the top 12 lead singers can actually sing!... alamak!.... last week and this week was an hr spent laffing my heads off watching some of the groups!... i hope they get some kind of coaching from some experienced peeps in the industry on showmanship coz some of them really look like they're performing in their bedroom - shiok sendiri!...

FRUST!
i always jinx my fav grp chance of winning the Amazing Race!.. :( first it was Nate and Jen.. i know they fought a lot.. but i still find them cute coz there are times when they do show their affection.... but they got ousted juz before the finals!.... then, last nite, i was rooting for the Father-Daughter duo and i said it out loud.. and who knows?!... they came in SECOND!!... urrrgh!!....

this morning, we had a super-duper loooong meeting... i actually juz came back from it!... aaaahh!!!... the blardy long minutes i have to write later!!..... :( but that's not the point!.. the point is, i'm frust that my boss dun seem to be supportive of something that i deem impt for the morale boosting of our staff... hmph!

and then, i get extremely frustrated with a certain old foggie here who can't seem to understand wat i want!!!... which part of "the whole list of ..." dun you understand?!... and to think that i requested for it in verbal and written form!!!... is it my English u dun understand or r u juz plain dumb?!..... fuck!!

I receive this video mail from a classmate and boy!... i felt sooooo drowned!... this baby soooo kesian lor... really!.... i think he was crying... ya ampun!!....

but on the other hand, the fact that he can turn himself to float is amazing!!.... WOW!... how the hell did they train him siah??... i also WAAANNT!!..... hahahhaa... but i feel that my babe is toooo young to go through this arduous process of learning to swim... i'll coach him myself when the time is ripe! ;)

anyways, American Idol is on... the first 2 episodes proved to be a disappointment!... it's getting boring-er and irritating by the season.. like Dearest said, if only the real talented + those who genuinely think they're talented minus the ones that juz wanna be irritating and have that 30s of fame on tv had lined up, the que would be a quarter of what it is now... wah lau eh!... anyways, it's a waste of 2hrs of time-slot... but i cannot wait for the real deal though!!.... it's been a while since i last see a handsome singer.. so i hope there is one that i can go GA-GA over this yr!... ahaks!

i really underestimated you this time but you've really done us proud.. i dun really care if it's really your good looks that got you to the top but you're the FIRST Asian Idol and that's the bottom-line...

truthfully, i dun really like Mike's voice and the Indian and Viet girl dun cut it... so, to me, it's bet Mau, Jac & Hady... anyways, i was dozing on and off throughout the 2hr show!.. but thankfully, i managed to wake up in time to see the results!... i was very much super excited waiting in anticipation who the winner would be.. my heart was beating pretty wildly as if i was rite there standing on stage.. hahhahaa... *yah!.. aku perasan!*

and after the results were out, i laffed to myself uncontrollably coz i juz couldn't believe it and Hady's first reaction was pretty priceless coz i'm damn sure he, himself could not believe it!!... oh! and the price that came along with the title is very, very nice indeed!... i wouldn't mind it at all!....

anyways, if i had known that he was singing Taufik's song, it would've motivated me to vote more for him but well, wat's done cannot be undone.. and if it was really as tight a race as it sounded, then, my 1 and only vote for him did make a difference afterall! ;)

anyways, can i juz say that Hady impressed me with his second song yesterday?... i've never seen him sing that kind of song and i was impressed though i must also add that there were some parts that we couldn't make out what he was singing.. hahaha.. but overall, it was impressive.. guess i underestimated him.. hehehe....

oh!.. can i also say that he's not a heart-throb when his hair is soooo kentalans in those short clips when they interviewed him... goodness gracious!... if he wants those female votes that they were all raving abt, then, i thank god the stylist (on the day of competition) know that that hair's gotta go!...

so, the question is now, who do i vote?.. coz i do lurrrve, lurrrve, lurrrrve that Phil girl... and i also think that Jac deserve it too with her freakin powerful vocals that made my hair stands!.. but i dun quite like her Gemilang performance.. very anggek leh... y eh?.. she wasn't feeling well is it?...

howell... i'm only gonna give 1 vote today... but i'm still deciding.. the only reason i'm not excited abt this Asian Idol is coz they chose to send Hady instead of Taufik!!!.... coz i'm damn sure that Taufik will make a better representative of SG!.. i'm sorry to all Hady fans.. but this is a fact i simply cannot ignore!!.... and yah!... call me sourgrapes but i juz can't make myself excited coz my Idol was not chosen!...kwang.. kwang.. kwang... but hey!.. in Idol, that one vote can make a lot of difference mah, rite??... ;)

anyways, i've got to say, tat Very Teruk boy has gotta be the WORST finalist in the entire history of singing competitions in Singapore - reality or not!... i think we can get better singers and performers at those CC competitions!...

the judges chose the most simplest song for him and yet he failed to deliver... both songs were less than average performance and it's supposed to be a National competition!... ????!!!!!..... freak!... with his lembek voice and even lembek face!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang...

u see, i didn't wanna vote at all initially but i juz cannot bear the tot of tat Very Teruk boy possibly winning the competition!... geezz.... so, i gave in to the temptation and i'd like to think that my 1 of 2 votes for Shrek boy played a part in his win!... hehehehe....

so Congrats to the winners of last nite Live the Dream... i hope there wouldn't be anymore 100%-voting-power-to-SGeans-singing-competition from TCS5 coz we juz aren't ready for it!.. i'm sure Ken was praying very hard for Shrek boy and his level of sarcasm for tat Very Teruk boy was tip top!... after the winner is announced, baru muka dia ada senyum... :)

I cannot believe that Shauna's still in!.. i didn't watch her whole performance but that short snippet that recapped her Umbrella performance was enuff to tell me that she's definitely not good enuff - and tat's saying it mildly - to advance and be the top 3 soloist... tat snippet wasn't even good enuff for a high school performance! at least for sure i dun sound like that when i performed for my teachers on Teacher's Day!... grrrr....

and who did they choose??... the one with the better voice!... even better than Victor's!..... wahlau eh!!... can't believe he's in too!.. haiyoh!.... now, Ani seemed to think that Victor (god forbids) will win it!... i certainly hope not coz i dun think i wanna watch a concert by a mediocre, lembek, muka nak nangis singer on the big stage!...lagi worst if Shauna wins it!... i can juz imagine how cutesy her performance would be and i think she'll be totally "lost" on the big stage...

OH!.... i watched Live the Dream (like finally!!) yesterday and i was like sooooo damn blardy disappointed at the results lor... y on earth was the wildcard round results left entirely up to the votes??.... we know jolly well that if SG votes, some lousy peeps will snake into the finals undeservingly!.. and tat's wat happened!....

i sooooo regretted not voting for Monggur.. i didn't watch her perform but from the snippets, she chose the wrong song.. not her best performance but at least she's better than V/I/C/T/O/R who??.. i dun want that A/L/A/N to go into the finals but after the results, i'd rather he go into the finals than him!... his version of Mandy was sooooo lembek.. it almost made me roll off the bed, sleeping!... gaaaah!!!....

And then, the grp results?.. lagi disappointing!... wat's up with choosing a lousy-trying so hard- cannot make it band with very bad shouting-all-the-way-singer to the finals??... B.A.R.B was waayyyyy better than them siah!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang..

howell... but at least watching Live the Dream beats watching over-rated SG Idols wannabes!... at least 80% in the former show can sing and entertain as compared to the latter.. SG Idols have 80% who cannot sing and/or entertain!... hah!! lucky we got the right Idols in both the seasons!!.... i'll be rooting for soulful Fendi and lovely Olynn.. From the snippets, Sugarettes seemed good too.. so, i'll prolly be rooting for them.. but even then, somehow Live the Dream don't appeal me to start voting for anyone!.. y eh??.. hahahaha...

DOWN BUT NOT OUT!
Aloha!.. been a while siah!... i was sooooooo down the past week coz my ear infection set in.. my left ear's still blocked so, i'm very much reliant on my right ear now to hear Eshan's cry... it was soooo bad tat my fever reach a very high 39deg.. :( there's soooo many things to write abt though!!.... i'll break it down to sections..

FATHER'S DAY
it was a great start to that weekend!... we celebrated Father's Day cum Daddy's bday at the Straits Kitchen on Fri.. this time round i can actually put in MORE than when i was pregnant!.. hahahhaa... :D

We had the crew sang the bday song to Daddy.. Mummy was laffing in fits at the silliness of it all - singing a bday song to a 61yr old grandfather!.. kkekekkee... but ev'body deserves a bday song, dun we all??... ;)

And on Sat, the 3 of us ie emiliAduka + lil Eshan went out to celebrate Dearest's first Father's Day at Breeks.. Eshan was a bit cranky and he spilled milk all over his bib!... but now, when we bring him out, he's more awake and will be enjoying the lights around him..

But on Sunday, after enjoying the last Father's Day celebration with the in-laws, i had to find out that Dearest back into being a smoker.. albeit an occasional one but i was still disappointed nevertheless!... i was in tears from disappointment and anger!!!.... i simply cannot understand why he cannot register it into his stubborn brain that smoking kills!... and it has already been proven that smoking shorten your lifespan by god knows how much!... urrrrgghh!!... he can eat healthy, live in fitness but if he's still smoking, all that is all for naught!.. pffft!

ESHAN'S PROGRESS
The lil' one's beginning to "talk"... his nyai and Tok lurrrvveeeess to coo him and he simply lurrrrves to be cooooed!... hahahahha..... one morning, he woke up and started goooo gooo gaaa gaaa-ing... when i entertain him he laffed his heart out... and this was one of his best shot for me..

this is his kopet (haven't bathe) look.. hehehhee.... i also sat him upright one day.. and booooy... i sooooo lurrrve this pic of you!!...

he still can't sit upright yet.. so, i bought him the Bumboo chair yest.. once he can fully support his head, in he goes!!.... :D we're also thinking and double thinking of shaving his head bald once more coz his hair's not growing - like AT ALL!!... very worrying!.. only matter is when??... haaaiizzzz......

ANUGERAH NGARUT!
it is very pathetic that the "harapan mendung" girl gets into wild card.. every week they talked abt showmanship - does that girl have "IT" in the first place??.. errrrr..... i DUN think soooo!!!.... wat the hell?!!.... she juz have the looks with no voice or showmanship to go along with it!... but i'm not really surprised she's in coz it does seems that looks is what the judges are looking for..

totally not regretting that i won't be able to catch the show live coz it juz ain't worth my time!..

COUNTING DOWN
at the same time next week, i'll most likely be behind my desk, clearing emails, back logs and wishing that the time passes by quickly so that i can be home with Eshan!... haaaiizzz.. the time has come for me to go back to work and i'm soooooo not looking forward to it!.. ;(

i'm sooooo gonna miss bathing my son... i'm already missing breastfeeding him coz i couldn't do so the whole of last week... i know it's beginning to dry up.. i'm juz hoping i can manage to salvage it this week and hopefully, it'll start "pumping" again... *cross fingers*

CRANKY ESHAN
My boy's been cranky of late.. it's soooo frustrating not knowing wat he wants!.. urrrrgghh!!.... he rejected the puting and milk and insisted on my nippies!... gaaaahh!!... and ever since he's on the puting, he drinks much lesser it seems.. haaaaiizz....

already, his lack of passing motion worries me.. now, this!... gaaaahhh!!!....

and i do like that My Now song.. very nice.. but it didn't really suit either of them.. and to tell u the truth, yesterday's finals was the most B.O.R.I.N.G ever!... no fight at all siah!... all throughout Blake's 3 performances, i wished i was seeing Melinda instead!... sheesh..

i watched Anugerah on tues.. and i sure hope that the judges dun "power" sini "power" sana and then, i see that person getting the bottom 3 of the judges' scores!... *grits teeth* and they were soooooo (or can i say tooooo) positive that day.. ada complain ke??... kekeke..... :p

i was sooooo looking forward to watching the greatest AI finals next week!... but now, it's juz like other finals where i can safely say Jordin's the idol this yr.. and America better geddit rite next week!.... :p

Ani have commented that i should chg my blog add to incl Eshan in coz it seemed now that my entry's all abt him nowadays.. hehehhe.... yah lor!... i also notice.. can't help it lah.. he's my 'world' now till the end of my maternity leave!.. hehehe... ;) anyways, speaking of her - Ani -CONGRATS girl!!... ;) very, very happy to hear the news!... aaaaahh!!... cannot wait for end of the year!...

over the weekend, we invited peeps to come see our lil' Eshan. Also to celebrate his 1mth bday, Dearest's almost-finished degree course and his bro's pass in driving. there were too many ppl. Not only was i tired, the poor babe was also tired!!...

luckily for us, the ring of his circumcised birdie fell off a day before that event!.. his birdie now look sooooo clean and brand new! hehhehe... al-hamdulillah...

REALITY BITES!
i am oh-soooo-late to comment on this but better late than never!!.... it's abt Anugerah 07.. i didn't catch the live telecast of it's first episode but managed (by chance) to watch the rerun on Sunday! and boy was it a laff!...

i dun quite understand y they did wat they did for the first episode coz to me, it juz didn't quite make sense. annnnd tell me if i'm hearing it wrongly but it wasn't a "live" performance by the 4 grps rite??... they were lip singing and ALL of them sounded GOOD!.. it juz ain't possible!

if i'm right and they were lip singing, c'mon Suria!... u can do better!.. they are all supposed to be good live singers and that's why they're in this competition!??!!... if i'm wrong, i apologise but i did see one of the singers missed some lines!...

anyways, no offense to Fauzie Laily's fans.. but he kinda sucked. tergagap-gagap mamat tu.. but prolly coz it's his first time and it is a LIVE show!... but that's also the thing.. u have Anugerah Skrin (is tat wat it's called?) but how come they didn't get the winners or the finalists to host this program?...

from the first grp on Tues, it seemed that the girls are better while the boys are juz pretty faces.. their looks and their voices are good boy-band material!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang.. will see how the second grp fair next Tues.

oh!.. can i also say how it sucked to see Lakisha gone yesterday?!.. i sooooo totally want Blake to leave first!... brrrrr!!..... if Melinda and Jordin get into the finals, it's definitely the first American Idol final to die-die must watch!!.... and the first ever where i can't say i know who's gonna win it!... i can't wait!!!

i really dooooo need some "MEEEEE" time!!.... i soooo totally agree with Joy.. ever since the babe came along, i've not been "taking care" of myself.. i think my eye-brows need a gd trimming, my feet are crying out for mercy, my body needs a good scrub, my face needs it's dose of "cleaning" and my hair - well, it's curlier than ever now!... :(

btw, i've lost 12kg to date but i think i need to lose another 6-10kg to fit back into my jeans!! yes!... i shuddered thinking that i actually put on close to 20kg the past 9mths!!... aaaaagghh!!.. my butt has definitely grown side-ways coz that's where all my bottoms get stuck at! and soooooo, i badly need to do a bit of bottoms shopping and i dun intend to wait out the 30-40days of pantang.. if nothing or no one gets in the way, i'm gg out this weekend! ... hehehhee...

between now and tml, i better get some sleep time coz the babe has been waking up every 2hrs for his feed!.. he's a growing kid afterall and that cheeks getting plumpier and juicier by the day!... ;)

oh! oh! oh!... at looooong last that mamak is GONE!.. GONE!... GONE!!.... i'm sooooo glad it wasn't Lakisha!... but i'm pretty surprise that Blake was in bottom 3!... when i saw Blake with Sanjaya i was pretty damn sure Sanjaya was safe!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang.. so, can i safely say that the finals would be Melinda and Jordin?.. or is it still too soooon to say?.. hmmm..... if these 2 are in the finals, it'd be a real fight!!.... i can't wait!!

BOTAK!
It felt like it's been awhile since i last updated!... kwang.. kwang.. juz no time to do it lah... :( niways, my lil' one have been shaven!... his now a baldie... hehehhe....

when it happened, i actually felt like crying coz i really do lurve his long, straight hair... yes!... believe it or not, my prayers seemed to be answered.. he's got straight hair!!.... but i'm pretty sure, after the shave, it won't be straight any longer... boooo hooooo!!!!.....

anyways, the Ustaz started off by reciting some prayers and giving him honey to suck on..

throughout the "ceremony" Eshan was quiet only whimpered and cried a bit when the Ustaz move him... whereas i was actually crying inside seeing him being shaved!!.. but i know this is done for a good cause and that that hair needs to be shaved for a fuller, healthier hair for the future.. ;)

now, my lil' boy look like this..

rounder and more tembam!!.... he's been cranky ever since the shave.. i think he knows and he doesn't like it! furthermoreeeeeee... it doesn't help that the grandparents are home and pampering him by carrying him around!!.... god help me when he wakes up!!.... had my first taste of it last nite.. i practically had to cuddle him before he goes to sleep!!... grrrrrr....

after the cukur rambut ceremony, we went to check on his jaundice and al-hamdulillah, it had gone down to 87!.. yeay!... no more trips to the polyclinic!!... :) it's actually not so much of making a trip down to the polyclinic.. it's the taking of blood at the same spot ev'time he's there that ached me...

oh!.. before he was shaven, i made sure we took pictures of him bathing.. and boy does he hate to bathe!... prolly coz we always wake him up juz to bathe!.. hehehehe....

he'll always cry for help everytime that butt hit the waters!... don't tell me he dun like the waters coz i do!.. and i intend to coach him to swim once he's ready!!....

he'll quiet down after the bath.. thank god!... aaaaah.. he looks soooo good with his hair!...

so the next milestone is his circumcision.. we intend to do it soon.. as suggested by the Ustaz, anytime before baby is 40days is afdal... so, hopefully, we'll get a date by then..

btw, if that mamak Sanjaya is still in after tml, i seriously doubt America will find the next American Idol!... i do question why on earth the judges put him through in the first place?... not like he's got the looks to start with!... grrrrr.....
