LOVE NEST
Due to "popular demand", i've decided to take a few snapshots of our love nest for your viewing.. :)

i really feel like the photos dun do justice to my very beautifully done-up home (if i can say so myself! hahahaa....) but wateva lah.. u're welcome to come view anytime! ;)

when u first enter thru the front door, the first thing that'll greet u is the dining room..

this pic is taken from the living room angle..

my love-at-first-sight sofa.. only thing that's missing from the living room now is a carpet.. still haven't found a right one yet..

as u can see, from the dining to the living, it's an almost black/white concept..

next, u'll have to go thru the walkway to our rooms and we've called it our hall of fame walkway coz we displayed our graduation shots here.. hehehe...

Eshan's room is on the right, facing the common toilet while ours is at the end.. the mirror u see is actually a 2-way mirror.. ;)

when u enter our room, u'll first see our custom-make wardrobe cum wall feature in the supposed master room..

and yes.. fyi, the TV can be swivelled just like the TV in the living rm wall feature AND u dun see any wires sticking out! ;) juz next to it, is our study room which we converted to our bedroom..

the mattress is on a platform that is actually a storage space..

so there u have it! features of the house which i soooo lurve!... hehheee.... of course, i lurve wat the developers did to the bathrooms too but i can't seem to get a nice pix of them!... so, too bad lah!... :(

wokay!.. on to my weekend.. Daddy told us that he's got tix to watch the fireworks festival.. and so off we went, all the while praying that it won't rain!... but afterall that rushing here and there to the floating platform, the fireworks started freakin late and lasted only abt 15mins?!... grrrr!!!....

and so of course, i took shots of Eshan and ourselves while waiting.. hahaaha.. but no need to feature ALL lah.. this will do.. hehehe..

but i must say, it was a good 15mins! it was almost 3D like!... and boy was i glad Eshan din scream in fear throughout the show!.. i guess he must've been too sleepy to be bothered!.. hahahaha... :D i did take a video of part of the fireworks if u'd like to see..

we also manage to squeeze in to attend Dila's wedding before Dearest have to dash off for his reservist.. bcoz of that, we didn't manage to take pix with the bride and groom! :( but instead took a photo of this cutie pie! hehehhee...

but the wedding was beautiful!.. it was an almost all-white theme with feathers and silver bears.. they got live band singing traditional malay songs and dancers from PA too!... i LOVE it! :D well done, Dila!

and then on Mon, i went to welcome home the TS team...

where we're at, there wasn't much peeps - only kids!... but oklah.. had fun clapping and cheering at every hippo bus that came along!.. hahhahaa...

haizzz.. it's raining and it's lunchtime! how to go out?!!!!.....

A NITE @ HOME & A CUT..
and so, we invited Dearest's football group and family for a potluck session cum private open house.. it's soooo much easier with ppl coming in with food... it's not too stressful on the owner, u know?.... *hint! hint!*..

the session was to also celebrate our niece's bday..

the bday girl is in the middle.. she's 3 today! :) happy bday Qis!! *muacks!*

these nieces of ours are my biggest food critic.. if they say good, it must be good!.. ahhahaa... esp si gendut tu!.. she reminds me of me!.. ahhahaa.. niways, thank god i passed!... the food was not gone to waste... all that was laid on the table got wiped out by the end of the day.. first time in history actually!. . ahhaha...

but it's prolly coz they went for a swim after dinner and was famished again after the swim!... oh!.. yes!.. we really made a ruckus at the pool that nite.. but errr... who really cares?!.. hehehe...

see? the guys were posing half-naked in the gym.. but before they could even sweat it out, the security guard chased them away for not being in proper attire!... got ppl complain it seemed!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang..

we also left eshan "swimming" alone in the dark... but not for long lah... already as it is, he dun like to be in that float!..

so, the nite ended late but with very happy stomachs... hehehhe...

the day after, we sent eshan for his hair-cut!... gosh!

this was how he looked the whole time we were at the barber's waiting for our turn..

he was also caught looking apprehensively at the barber... kecian..

when the shaver first reached his head, he only jembewek and whimpered...

he only wailed towards the end of his cut...

we expected a full-fledged wail from beginning to end.. but nope!.. our boy's all grown up now... hopefully, by next cut, he'll not jembewek oredi lah.. hehehe... ;)

STILL ADJUSTING..
Okiez... i know i've not been updating.. the past week was spent doing a week's worth of work that i left behind juz to "enjoy" my new home..

i tot it'll be tai2 days for me that whole week... but NOOOOOO..... was only a tai2 for the first 1.5 days perhaps?.... after which, it was back to clean, clean, cleaning the whole hse everyday!!... i didn't realise i could be a neat freak too till i get my own hse!..

Mummy would be soooo proud to know that I, her daughter, have taken after her when it comes to having a dry sink!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang.. but i think i'm not as freaky as her lah!.. ahhahhaa... :p

BUT although it was tough initially - wat with Eshan craving for attention - i got thru it in one piece and now getting the hang of it! ;) and most importantly, thru it all, i had my son for that whole week all to myself and seeing him grow up was priceless!..

Only at 15mths did he start to want to hold his own bottle!!... after months of coaxing him to do this, he finally did it!.. al-hamdulillah....

got him a Barney book juz so he'll read.. and "read" he did!....

he's learnt the art of lepakz at such a young age!....

juz before i went back to work, i got him to taste Milo!... bukan main shiok sekali minum Milo!

he took an immediate liking to be a rock-star!.. and here's a video to proof that!.. ahhahaa...

notice tat i've not put up pix of my humble new abode yet. have no inspiration to do so, coz believe it or not, the hse is still not completely ready!... by this Sat (i hope!), we'll get 98% of the things in.. last thing to come, is our sofa... my love-at-first-sight sofa!... haaaaizzzz.... really saving the best for last that one!... grrr....

and so, my promise to myself after i move in is to hone my cooking skills (not that i have any in the first place!) every weekend.. note that i've not made that promise to hubby lest i broke that promise!.. hehehe... but i will try!... my first attempt at cooking REAL food - meaning, not the usual foodie, which is basically juz one-dish meals and baked chix wings - was very flaming HOT Ayam Masak Merah!...

it really wasn't meant to be that hot!.. i use the cap Limau Chilli paste - coz i didn't bother to do the paste myself! - and freaky shit!.. it was HOT!!!.... so now i know! - next time, i'll juz grab some home-done sambal/chilli paste from Mummy's kitchen! hhehee....

now, i'm obsessing over doing briyani (coz i've learnt how to do my favourite ayam masak merah!.. ahhaha...) for this weekend!... alamak! i juz remembered some peeps are coming over this weekend... hmmm... need to cook tried and tested stuff instead.. howell!.. there's always the next weekend! ;)

i won't post pix of the hse till i do the nec cleaning, etc.. etc... but LOVE. LOVE. LOVE! the whole entire house!!.... ahhahaha.. it all came together nicely.. thank god!... even the paint that i sooooo dun like before came out nice against the furnishings... :D

only one small thing to be done for the wall feature... hopefully, they've got that wallpaper for us!...

can't wait to move innnn!!!!.....

btw, can someone update me on the Anugerah Band?... i can't seem to follow!.. i tot last week's performance was the semi-finals??... how come when i watch the re-run on Suria last nite it announced the wild-card for Semis?.... quite lost lor.. thanks in advance ah!... :)

OUR LOVE NEST..
and so, we got the keys on Fri morning... and who's actually more excited than we are?... our dearest Eshan!.. ahhahaha...

he was squealing in delight, playing around the empty house and into each and every room!... but al-hamdulillah, he was happy with the house - at least we're pretty assured that he won't cry everytime we bring him home!... :)

we were pleasantly surprised that we got quite a few free gifts from the developer... :D

we've been going back and forth to the house the past weekend (kemaruk lah katakan!) - looking for defects... alamak!.. the workmanship is pretty sucky when u really look into details!.. anyways, let me tour u round the hse... a bit only lah... coz firstly, didn't take a lot of pic of the hse and i forgot to take pic of the toilets which i sooooo lurveee!!.. ;)

the kitchen's just beside the entrance.. we opened it up to make it look bigger but after talking to the ID, we may need to "close" it back up but with clear glass lah.. so that it'll still look roomy..

this is the study ensuit with the master bedroom... i cannot imagine if we had chosen to leave the 2 rms as it is! *shudders* anyways, this is where we're putting our bed.. ;)

and from our bed, this is our view across the room.. not so nice lah - wat with ppl hanging unsightly stuff out their window - but love the bay window! ;)

when i go there again tonite, i'll see if i can get a nic pix of the toilet... hehehe... btw, a note of precaution to all who's getting their own home soon... Dearest didn't "bang/azan" the house on the first day we got the key coz it got pretty late by the time he got there on Fri.. we were there together with BIL and his fren till near midnite.. at abt 11.45pm-ish, all 3 of them heard the front door being knocked (yah!.. all 3 except me! baaaah!!!....) ... not sure if these 2 are related.. but juz a note lah.. to do it as soon as possible coz it's a new home afterall!...

so who do u think will win it??... I'm sure by now, those peeps not working, not schooling - basically not doing anything and into AI like my brother at home - is glued to the TV, intently waiting for the results!

i hope Cook will win it coz i think overall, he's a better performer and is more versatile than Archeleta.. the latter is a cute munchkin but he needs more experience to be a good performer - he can't dance and he can't do fast tracks... he's getting duller and staler by the weeks... so, i dun really get why the judges were praising him the whole time last nite!...

on to the other not-so-HOT reality TV on Suria rite now... i'm soooo blardy disappointed at the standard of the bands... so far i'm only really impressed with 2 bands.. only a handful of the top 12 lead singers can actually sing!... alamak!.... last week and this week was an hr spent laffing my heads off watching some of the groups!... i hope they get some kind of coaching from some experienced peeps in the industry on showmanship coz some of them really look like they're performing in their bedroom - shiok sendiri!...

ooooh!... peeps!.. i'm getting my keys tml morning!!.. YEAY!!... sooooo EXCITING!!!..... our love nest is now truly OURS!.. can't freakin wait!!!.... i hope there's not much defects so that we can start reno and be done with it!... hehehe....

Afternote: and yup!... my brother - the spoiler - has done juz tat!... spoilt it by telling me which David won!... urrrgghh!!... so should i spoil it for u too?!!.... hehehehe.... ney!.... hint: i'm a happy, happy girl!.. very much unexpected and a very pleasant surprise indeed! ;)

WHEN?!!!....
We just receive an sms from Dearest's friend - soon-to-be-neighbour-from-another-tower - that he'll be collecting the keys tomorrow!!!.... imagine that!.. TOMORROW!!...

sooooo when is our freakin turn?!!!... :( y are they taking damn blardy long to give us the keys?!!... urrrgh!... the wait is agonising!!.... we went to the hse last week and was informed that hopefully, our TOP is in 2wks (that's next wk..) so, i'm really hoping that ours is next!!...

we saw a few houses occupied, so presumably, ppl have moved in.. so, hopefully we'll meet our interior designers this evening to finalise details and quote.. we want them to get started on the house as soon as we get the keys!!... we can't wait like tat! ;)

i already berangan want to take a week long leave to enjoy my own home and lounge/laze by the pool with Eshan you know.. hehehehe... oh!.. u may be wondering why i never included the hubby?.. coz the hubby will be too bz with his new job!..

yeah!... i didn't get to update that coz i wasn't too excited or too keen on his move to this new workplace.. but dun get me wrong!.. i do want him to get a new job and get out of his current workplace but the place he's going to will require him clocking in more hours and OT.. plus! i'll have to learn to be independant all over again!.. god knows how long he's been sending and fetching me from work!... far toooo long!!...

so come 20 May, i'll be going to work on my own - bus or car - not decided yet.. will prolly try the car out for a month and see how it goes.. baaaaah!!

BABY.. BABY...
Eshan was supposed to go for his jab on Fri but after consultation with the doc, we decided not to let him have it coz we're afraid it might irritate him further.. as it is, he's not recovered from his coughing and running nose... we got another medicine from the polyclinic for his coughing since the med from the pte PD dun seemed to work!

with confidence, i told the hubby, no need to take que no at the pharmacy coz the nurse said "it's tagged to our number".... we actually sat and waited for our number to be called for a good 10mins before i realised that ppl were queing up for another que no, giving the counter their previous que no!... pantat!!!.....

we waited and waited for our no to be called... after another good half hr (i think!), we were finally called juz to be told that they dun have the med!!... urrrgghh!!!..... have to get it from other pharmacies!!... dah takleh claim!... bengang betul!!...

but after all tat, thank god, he's recovering pretty well.... however, the maid is now down with a cold!... i juz hope he doesn't catch it from her!!...

over the weekend, we went to look see look see our own love nest in progress... it looked almost complete.. we're juz hoping we get it asap coz we both can't wait to be "free" and enjoy our long-awaited privacy...

i also manage to snap some photos of my lil' bub over the weekend...

we found out that he lurrrves playing with this particular balloon that Rosma and Ms Gems bought for us when he was first born!.... berguna jugak belon nie.. thanks girls!! ;)

he was caught with his butt held high while sleeping!... hahahhaa.....

HOME
We went to see our love nest yest and oooohh... laaaa.. laaaa... i wanna cry juz by looking at the pool!.... ooooh!... pool dia sungguh the feeling!!!..... :D freakin huge pool with the gym in the middle of it.. Dearest was the disappointed with the gym coz it's damn small (waahahahha) but the pool is soooooo inviting! - it made me wanna strip my clothes off and jump in!... too bad lah it was raining!... hehehehe....

most of the houses are up... left with other facilities like the carpark, tennis court and bbq pits... they still need to sell off some units.. our tower is fully sold.. so hopefully, we'll get the keys by end of the year.. we can't wait!!....

i was in my high wedges shoe and carrying Eshan all the time we were viewing the house.. today, my hands and shoulders are aching!!... :( he's grown another 2kg making him 6.5kg and is now abt 58cm.. i think soon, i'd have to put him in the pram wherever we go... can't possibly carry him here and there already!...

btw, we met up with Ani and hubby... and boy have her "buddies" grown!... waahahahhaa..... after surverying her stomach, i'm guessing it's a girl... so girl, once u know, let me know, ye... i've got a pix that i took with her.. but i dun like the pix in my cam.. i think i prefer the one in her cam... so, too bad lah... no pix of us together! *boooo!*

MOVED!... :D
yeay!.. we've moved at last!.. hence, the very lack of updates - no comp / broadband connection for the past 5 days siah coz i've not been to the office the past 3 days (and so, u can imagine how i've to drag myself to work this morning! *BOO!*)

anyways, for the record, let me juz jot this down - moving is NO FUN!!... it's freakin tiring esp if u've got legs like mine and a bloated tummy to go along with it!.... :( but thank god for the husband - the unpacking was practically a one-man-show... *muaaaacckss!* love u darling!!... but of course i did some unpacking!!.... unpacked all my clothes and repacked them to give away coz the cupboards juz NOT enuff to stuff all my clothes in!... even though the room is mighty huge, it seems to not able to fit all our stuffs in!... we need storage space!!....

looking at the house, i do wonder if ev'ting will be unpacked by CNY?!.... my parents have a whole load of stuffs still unpacked in one of the rooms.. hmmm... anyways, the maid came juz in time on Tuesday!... she's been helping out quite a bit - cleaning the house, unpacking our stuffs, etc... speaking of the maid, i still found it weird to have someone around the house other than my family member... i'm sooooo not used to it!.... brrrr.... it's like an invasion of privacy. hmmm.... wat to do?... have to have her around for the babe later... but i've told her not to touch our room... i've got this knack abt ppl going thru my stuffs.. i dun even let my mom clean my room!... i simply dun like it!....

overall, i do lurrrve the spaciousness the house offered and i simply adore the huge showerhead my dad installed in our bathrooms - juz that i dun understand y we have 1 big showerhead and a smaller one by the side?!.... BUT i do HATE the blardy dogs there coz they make LOADS of noise at any time of the day!!.... it's blardy IRRITATING!!.... urrrghh!!.... :(

SNEAK PEAK..
I was a busy, busy bee over the weekend!!! did our packing the whole day on Sat!... well, basically Dearest did MOST of the packing.. i was actually taking my time when i did the packing myself in the morning.. packed and watched tv at the same time - how to finish?... hehehee.....

anyways, the house is in a MESS!... boxes, clothes, junk and wat-have-yous - ALL over the tiny house!.... i do wonder how we'll ever finish packing by this Sunday!.... oh!... and because of all these packing, my legs has grown to a size of a small tree trunk!... :(

As if the huge legs are not taunting me enuff!... ppl around me were taunting me for my growing nose too!... :( sungguh depressing!!.....

After all that packing, we went to see my first niece (maternal side).. she's sooooo cuuuttee!!!.... couldn't really tell though whose face she resembles!... but both babe and mom are healthy - tat's important!!.....

My cuzzin couldn't tell me exactly how her labour experience went coz the mom won't let her... :p but wat i found soooooo farny was the fact that her husband was sleeping when she was hard at work trying to push the baby out!.. hahahahha.... apparently, they tot that the labour will be for 12hrs or so - that's wat they all say for first-time mothers! - but NOT!... the babe popped barely 6hrs after she got warded!.. he was called but he accidentally slept again.. hahhahaa.... so, lesson learnt - Dearest will stay by my side from the moment i get warded till i safely deliver the babe!.... no matter HOW freakin long my labour will take me!!... he'd better!! *wags fingers*

on our way back from sending Nyayi home, we saw this!...

i'm sure the Aunties there are very happy with their own space they can call "second home".... :) cool...

we ended the nite - supper with the married gang... had fun talking cock and catching up till 2.30am!... gosh!!..... how time flies when u're merry!... really!.... i wasn't even feeling the least sleepy! AMAZING!....

and then on Sunday, we had a sneak peak of the hse...

the house from the porch.. i really dun like the iron rod gate but heck!.. it's automatic and wider than our old house!..

the huge, wet kitchen that mummy is sooooo proud of.. this is where she'll be cooking up a storm in future, as she'd promised... i'm juz waaaaiiittiiiing for that moment... HAH!!

we have a balcony on the second floor which also leads to our TV room!... lurrrrve the airiness of the room!.... ;)

and this is our new view... first, i had NO view. Then i had parking lots as view!... now, it's trees and someone's back porch with a mini-pool!! yeay!! :D

the house is still dusty... seriously, how to move house this Sunday?!... not packed, not cleaned... hmmmm.....

and yesterday we all had fun, gritting our teeth, watching the tense match between SIN and THA!... hahhahaa.... The father-in-law reminded me not to be too excited!... errrr..... *rite!*... anyways, i can juz imagine Daddy going berserk and cursing and swearing to our boys coz frankly, they dun play all that well yesterday... but thank god they won!.. tat's all tat matters!.... so CONGRATULATIONS!.... i do wonder though WHY on earth can't they ever achieve anything at the SEA Games?!.... urrrgghh!!....
