A PACKED HOLIDAY!
it was a pretty traditional CNY this yr - with us going for a picnic (apparently, it's a tradition for the Malays to go for picnic on CNY hols!) to lion dance and lo-hei in 2 separate Chinese houses!...

First up was a picnic with the in-laws @ Sentosa... the last we went for a family picnic was eons ago... the past few yrs had always been with Dearest only.. once we went picnic with Rosma & Ms Gems.. so, imagine my shock when the in-laws brought a whole load of food and the mat and wat-nots - a real picnic lah dey!... hahahhaa...

it was soooo blardy crowded with peeps!!.... NEVER in my entire life will i bring my family out for a picnic on CNY again!!.. we were pretty excited to bring Eshan to the man-made baby pool tat Ms Gems recommended but he slept once we found a spot!... aiyoh!.. so had to wait a bit before he gets in on the fun too!...

imagine his eagerness seeing the pool! kept looking towards the pool while we wait for Dearest to gulp down his lunch!.. :)

the next day we went for the ritual CNY visiting... for the first time, Aunty Shirley called in a lion dance and we also met the Jap lady who charges US$300- US$400 per hair cut in NY!... supposedly she's tat good!.. if only i have the money, i would let her cut my hair!

Eshan got to see the dancing lions!.. and he didn't even let out a yelp!.. he was juz gaping at the lions!.. ahhahaa... must be quite a sight!!... :)

two houses after, mummy & daddy participated in a lo-hei session with their colleague's family!... mummy said she wanted all the good luck and tried to lift her stuff high..

howell!.. wateva makes them happy!... ahhahaha.... All day tat day, Eshan lets anyone carry him around.. scary betul!.. tup2 hilang anak aku!!... *choy!!* anyways, for the all the pix taken tat 2 days, they're here!

And after all that happening activities the past 2 days, Eshan woke up in a slight daze on Sat!

Anyways, we also attended Syidzz and Faisal's wedding - at LAST!!!.... we get to see them married!... :) Congrats u both!....

Yest we visited Nyai in hospital (yes! she went back in again! :( ) thank god!.. she looked fresher and happier!... unlike the past mth at home where she was juz lying down and in no mood to talk cock and eat properly!... hopefully, the scope tis morning will find the root cause of her anaemic state and they treat her accordingly!...

aaaah... the past 4 days had been a bliss for me... at home with my son - watching Barney and seeing him grow up!.. he's now able to stand for 2s on the bed and walk very quickly pushing that Fisher Price car... so i really cannot wait for him to start walking!!... how exciting!!

getting to work today was a chore!... a real chore!... i dun really want to leave my baby behind!... missing him like crazy now!! :( back to work!!!

It's a beautiful day!... the sky is blue and the roads are clear and the office is half empty!.. yeay!!....

tml is a holiday but i'll have to slog my ass off today first... but it's ok!... i'm doing wat i like anyways!... hehehe.... hopefully eshan won't be too "needy" or cranky coz he's having a running nose... i hope it doesn't get worst within the next 2 days coz i would assume most clinics would be closed within the next 2 days!... aaaaagh!!....

BDAYS CELEBRATIONS!
The weekend was quite well-spent... went for not one but 2 celebrations on Sat... first up was my niece's bday celebration....

Happy First BDAY NurFa!!... ;) her mom hates it when we call her tat.. but errrm, it seems quite nice leh... hehehe... she was in a good mood that day.. she's ok with us carrying her and she managed to smile a bit when we talked to her.. other days, she's a grumpy lil' one!... really. tak bedek!...

Next up was bday celebrations with the mommies!... we have 5 minus 2 Jan babies (Ikmal & Nazlin couldn't make it!) and 1 Dec babe (tat's moi!).. i received my Donna Hay Modern Classics Bk 2 (at last!!).... and i lurve it!!... gorgeous, tempting pix and easy enuff recipes to do!... i cannot wait!!!... :D *rubs hands in glee* thanks girls!!!!

my son & Ms Gems not supposed to be in the pic.. but Naqeeb was in cranky mode coz of his running nose (poor boy..) and Eshan was not warmed up with the peeps around him.. oh!.. and i also juz know that my son has this thing abt crowds.. when we reach NurFa's bday party, i got my aunt to hold him first while i pass the big present i got for NurFa to An... when Eshan looked around the crowded living rm and finds that i wasn't the one holding him, he cried... alamak!... susah babe gini..

anyways, the 2006 babies minus Ikmal convened at Rosma's hse that Sat... and boys! was it difficult to get the 3 of u to sit quietly!...

tat's y there were no nice, clear shots of the boys!... these were the best amg the lot tat i took!.. :( nvm, next time we try again eh... waaah... come to think of it, come education milestones - going into P1, streaming, PSLE, O levels - at least i dun have to go thru it alone.. my frenz will be there to go thru it together! ;)

oh!.. i do need help!... Eshan's curls are getting out of hand!.. mummy asked me to cut it but i can't bear to coz it does look cute on him!.. hahahha.. but when he's all sweaty, it looks soooo all over the place!

btw, update on Kak Yani - she looks in high spirit though there were metal bits sticking out from her arms and wat nots... aiyoh!.. it looks pretty painful but she's smiling and can even do a peace sign to the camera for Daddy!.. so, i think either she's really not in pain (one tough cookie she is!) or the drugs are working their way to numb her pain... either way, i was in pain looking at her pix!!.... yah!.. daddy took them to show me how painful it is to have an accident when u're a pillion on a bike!... hmmm.. yah!.. i know... but i dun enjoy long rides thru kampong streets and wat nots... i'm not a toughie!... i'm a pampered brat like tat!.. hehehe... but insya-allah, Dearest will ride safely with me as his "second eyes" on the streets of SG!!

anyways, to Kak Yani & Isham, dun think can visit you at the hospital since we cannot bring Eshan to the hospital... will prolly visit u when u're back home... let us know once back, k?!... take care!!!

i receive some bad news from Mummy... she told me that Kak Yani got involved in an accident in Laos. Apparently, they were trying to avoid a COW!... yes!... u read it right - a COW!... my oh my!...

Mummy is still unsure of details - she said something like she got thrown off the bike - wah! reminded me of when I got thrown off the bike one time!.... *shudders* dear god, i do hope she's ok.... she's on the way back and will be admitted to SGH..

at last!.. it's Friday!.... a few more days to go before the 4-day rest next week!... yippee!!..... i really cannot wait for tat!.... :)

but before i go for that 4-day rest, i need to slog out a day to do my egg tarts and marble cake since i took orders for CNY!... ;) my first order for my marble cake.. hmmm... i hope it turns out A-OK!....

oh!... we've already decided on a date for the retreat.. but there's still some issues to be ironed out before we can confirm it.. haaaizzz... y do i have to do this?.... i really dun like organising such stuff!... :(

MARBLE CAKE, ANYONE?

i did this tri-colour marble cake though!.. I tried doing marble cake a long time ago.... can't remember whose recipe i used also... since i feel like doing marble cake and went in search for a recipe and found this!

my colleagues said it's nice - i hope it's not out of courtesy!.. ahahhaa.. they said that it's not too sweet but i need to cut it thicker!.. hahaha... errr... pardon my thin pieces.. coz i really dunno how to cut a cake!.. i'm very horrible at that!... personally, i do like it.. it's very soft and i can actually taste the choc!... but next time, i'll use real choc instead of cocoa powder...

now, wat can i do this weekend for our gatherings? new recipe or the tried and tested ones??

over the weekend, i gave Eshan a taste of Durian and he lurves it!!!.... he wants more even after giving him 6 pinches.. but no more lah... cannot give him too much...

Eshan is also starting to try to stand.. he will bravely let got for a second and hold on the stationary object in front of him before letting go again for another second!.. so, i'm hoping that he can start standing by 10.5mths and then i can train him to walk so that he can safely start walking by his 1st bday!! ;)

I juz msged Izy abt how fast time flies... before you know it, our darlings are turning 1!... my gosh!.. i really dunno how tat happened?!... :( but it's weird how much i want him to start walking and talking but at the same time, i also dun want him to grow up tat fast!.. HAH!....

i guess for now, i juz have to enjoy these moments when he

picks up a good habit of reading..

sits on the big boy's toys inquisitively touching this and that..

is exploring every lil' thing and cheekily bites on them knowing full well we dun like it..

but most of all, i love it when he gives me his big, wide smile with eyes squinting!

even if that means, he salivates and smells all over!..

FRUST!
i always jinx my fav grp chance of winning the Amazing Race!.. :( first it was Nate and Jen.. i know they fought a lot.. but i still find them cute coz there are times when they do show their affection.... but they got ousted juz before the finals!.... then, last nite, i was rooting for the Father-Daughter duo and i said it out loud.. and who knows?!... they came in SECOND!!... urrrgh!!....

this morning, we had a super-duper loooong meeting... i actually juz came back from it!... aaaahh!!!... the blardy long minutes i have to write later!!..... :( but that's not the point!.. the point is, i'm frust that my boss dun seem to be supportive of something that i deem impt for the morale boosting of our staff... hmph!

and then, i get extremely frustrated with a certain old foggie here who can't seem to understand wat i want!!!... which part of "the whole list of ..." dun you understand?!... and to think that i requested for it in verbal and written form!!!... is it my English u dun understand or r u juz plain dumb?!..... fuck!!


oh!... and it was decided that we may go for a retreat... 1 nite or 2 nites?!... freak!... k'm gonna miss my son! and i'm sooooo not into retreats if it's juz gonna be abt work, work and MORE WORK!!! so yes!... as u can see, i'm not sooooo in a good mood now... :<

My bro bought Desperate Housewife Season 4 - claimed to be complete but it only has 9 episodes!!... is it really complete?!!!... i DUN think so lor!!..... but when i googled it earlier, it got me to ABC website and yup!.. there's only 9 episodes... hmmm..... the ending is sooooooo menggeramkan!!...

anyways, we juz had this staff engagement survey findings briefing and boy!... it's not looking all too good!.... hopefully, with the findings, there's better remuneration package, benefits and wat nots for us all!... i can't wait!! ;)

BABY FLOAT
I receive this video mail from a classmate and boy!... i felt sooooo drowned!... this baby soooo kesian lor... really!.... i think he was crying... ya ampun!!....

but on the other hand, the fact that he can turn himself to float is amazing!!.... WOW!... how the hell did they train him siah??... i also WAAANNT!!..... hahahhaa... but i feel that my babe is toooo young to go through this arduous process of learning to swim... i'll coach him myself when the time is ripe! ;)

anyways, American Idol is on... the first 2 episodes proved to be a disappointment!... it's getting boring-er and irritating by the season.. like Dearest said, if only the real talented + those who genuinely think they're talented minus the ones that juz wanna be irritating and have that 30s of fame on tv had lined up, the que would be a quarter of what it is now... wah lau eh!... anyways, it's a waste of 2hrs of time-slot... but i cannot wait for the real deal though!!.... it's been a while since i last see a handsome singer.. so i hope there is one that i can go GA-GA over this yr!... ahaks!

TRIP CANCELLED?!
haiyah!... soooo sad!!..... Naz decided not to go for the trip... so we can't possibly go with ZamAni's family coz we're all inexperienced drivers... hmmm... sungguh sedih!... :(

perhaps it's a blessing in disguise... it's a sign to use the $$ on my son's bday!.. ahhahaha... bleh gitu?!.... *excuses! excuses!*.... anyways, i think i WILL do a mini bday bash for my son - juz with close family and frenz.. hmmmm...... time to start planning!! ;)

i also cannot wait for the upcoming rd trip with the gang.. any suggestions where we can go to in MAS? Nazrin kept suggesting Fraser Hill... i very scared leh.. ahhahhaa... yah.. i'm scared of going up and down the hills... Ms Sinus & family still have not gotten back to us on whether they're joining on this rd trip.. join lah.. join lah... ;)

UP NEVER DOWN..
first it was the taxi fare that infuriated me!... now, we found 1 ERP gantry at - get this! - TPY !!!!!... WAAAAT?!!!.... is that blardy rd leading to town?!.... freaky!.....

i pity the ppl staying there coz now, they really have got no choice but to go thru the gantry every other day... if not, they'd have to make a longer turn to avoid the jam!!.... with the rising taxi fare and the numerous ERP gantries scattered everywhere, no wonder ppl are always late for work!.... kwang.. kwang.. kwang... coz it's not like the buses here are VERY efficient!... no doubt, it is one of the best but if only it could be BETTER like being ON TIME for example!...

can i suggest the following to SBS:-
1. Get more fleet of buses and schedule the buses at regular time slots at peak period. i took the bus to class yesterday and missed the bus and had to wait for a whole 25mins before i get another bus. Apparently, Ms Gems saw 2 of that bus pass her at the same time!.... if it had been scheduled properly, this shouldn't be the case and i may only need to wait half that time to get the bus.

2. The buses to reach designated bus stops on time. After years of traveling the roads of SG, i'm sure SBS can est the time the bus reaches from one point to the other. This links to point 1 - if you schedule the bus timing rite from the start when they leave the interchange, u can display the timing of the bus arrival at that particular bus interchg so that commuters would have a rough est of wat time the bus will come.

3. Train bus drivers to drive at a normal, safe speed. Some drivers drive the bus like it's carrying a dead body inside while some drive like a mad cow forgetting that they're driving a bus load of passengers and that soooo many lives are in their hands! This links to point 2 - if a speed limit is regulated for all bus drivers to follow, buses can definitely turn up at the bus stops on time!

i dunno if these suggestions are feasible... but it's worth a look, dun u think?.... anyways, i dun even know how these all get started in the first place!... i was supposed to blog abt happy stuffs today!.. ahhahahaa.....

we had our last of the last facial practical class yest... it was courtesy of our dearest che-cher Kat... the 3rd was supposed to be our last class but we had a makan session instead... this is the class that i had been with for the past 1.5yrs... there were definitely more than this at the start of the class.. but these stayed faithful till the end... ;)

i guess it's never easy to juggle work, family and class.. me and Win definitely regretted taking up this course but to think that we acquired an extra skill made up for it lah... we only hate taking the exams!... urrrgh!.. i juz hope i pass the facial practical!... i dun wanna retake leh....

and at last, i did Madeleines!!!... it's really freakin nice lah... got the recipe from the girl who paints her kitchen red - again! :) - who got the recipe from Donna Hay Modern Classics 2. I sooooooo have got to get my hands on that book... but actually, have requested Ms Gems to get me that for my bday present but have yet to get it from her... hehehehe... aku tak sabar lah!!.. and yes... i'm pretty shamless but heck!.. they asked!! :D

can't get my hands on the real madeleine shaped containers... so had to make do with seashells. They had the silicone one at Isetan but hell!... it's expensive!!.... oh!... these madeleines are sooo soft and spongy it's like Baulu, the English version.. ahhahaha..... i loike!!... hmmmm.... think i'll try the choc ones tonite... or perhaps a marbled madeleines... ehhehehe.... ;)

IT'S 08!..
oh my!... how time flies!.. the new year has come and gone and we're already on the 8th day of 2008!...

first up, we didn't get to spend the new yr outdoors under the bright sky of fireworks when it strikes 0000hrs on 1 Jan. We had to rush down to see Dearest's grandma who was pretty ill. And on the 1st, we rushed down again thinking that that will be the last time we'd see her.. oh!.. there was drama alrite!... ev'one was crying and i think at the back of our minds, we'll be starting the new year with the her passing. but oh! my!... who would've tot that she's one fiesty lady!... she pulled through and she's now up and abt though a bit delusioned but al-hamdulillah, she recoverd from that near-death experience..

before i go on my pretty long leave, we shifted "house" - my second home.. the office!.... yup!.. we've officially moved and i'm pretty happy with where i'm at... since we had to throw away a lot of stuff and the place is too open to have a lot of rubbish lying around, my place is pretty neat!... but i do wonder how long the desk can stay neat and dust-free!.. ahhahahaa....

The long break was for my theory paper which took place last Sat. imagine - have to start the new year with a freakin exam paper!... grrrrrr!!..... well, konon-konon nak belajar lah!... it was "easy peasy" coz i skipped like LOADS of question!... hahahhaa.... wateva lah... as long as i can pass the paper overall, i'm happy!.... ;) next up is my facial practical exam.... i dun need to ace it.. juz a pass will do so that i needn't retake it!.... hehehhee...

there's also the birth of Rosma's second princess!... looked very similar to Syaza when she's born.. it was sudden! we didn't expect it... we received the msg that she's in labour ward on Fri morning saying "it doesn't look good"... and Aman didn't reply our msgs when we asked him how she is... didn't get a reply from her till night! aiyoh!.... really made us worry lor!!... but al-hamdulillah, both mother and daughter are fine... (Note: pic cannot be inserted coz i Daddy got me a new hp so, i've yet to download the pix to PC.)

Rosma sure looked fit to go even though it's juz been a day since she was under the knife!!.... amazing betul nie pompuan!

Before visiting Rosma, we went to our future love nest.. and was informed that we should be getting the house in Mar/Apr... really cannot wait lor!!!.... i would think everything is done except for the interior!... and we also realised after going thru the showflats that there will not be an area where we can air the clothes!... so, by hook and by crook, gotta get ourselves a dryer!... anyone wanna sponsor?!... hehhehehe...

lastly, we went to Wild Wild Wet yesterday and had a whale of a time sliding down the slides meant for kids!.. hahahaha.... Eshan was scared out of his wits when the water splashed on his face!.... but as long as his head is above water and he can splash around, he's a happy kid!... :) too bad, we didn't bring in our hp in coz we were afraid that it'll get wet!... al-maklum, my hp is juz 4days old!.. hehehehe....

on my new hp thingie... i dunno why Daddy bought me that new hp for... but who could resist free N95 phone rite even if it means, i traded my phone with him for that free phone!... ahhahaha.... so THANK YOU Daddy!!!... love u loads!!... *muaacks!*

A BRAND NEW YEAR..
today is the last day of 2007!.. it always excite me when new year comes coz i do wish to know wat awaits me in the brand new yr... personally, i juz wish for more luck, prosperity and good health for the coming year and i really do wish for world peace... amiiin...

oh!... as a practice over the past 2yrs, emiliAduka + zamAni + BaiNaz will go for dinner followed by karaoke session past midnite to celebrate the new year together.. however, due to the arrival of zamAni's first bundle of joy this yr, we can't do the celebration together.. so now, me and Dearest have got no freakin idea wat to do this new year's eve.. *sigh* B.O.R.I.N.G!

anyways, did u guys read the New Paper over the weekend? there was an article on rising cost of banquet dinner next yr.... aiyoh!!... by next yr, it said a $100 hongbao is not enough to cover the cost of the dinner... hmmmm..... i have gotten into a debate over this with some friends... i dun see why couples have to fret over whether the hongbao is enough to cover the banquet. You chose to have a banquet at some high-class hotel. I dun think u should expect some form of return from the attendees. It's like me attending your wedding just to buy myself a $100++ dinner!...

i dun think it's fair on us attendees. As a couple, i would prefer if the hongbao came with sincerity (in any amt) and your well-wishes for our happy, blissful future as husband and wife. I wouldn't want a huge hongbao that came with a lot of sighing and complaining (coz i do hear that from a few friends).

hmmm... howell! such is the culture here in SG and i have to make do with it lah.. Hopefully, when the time comes for my few good friends to tie the knot in the not-so-near-future (:p), i'll have more spare moolahs to give a huge hongbao!... hehehhee.... dun worry ah... my hongbao will be a sincere one with blessings from emiliAduka to U!... *muacks!*

KEK LAPIS
I did my first ever kek lapis.. courtesy of Mummy's recipe.. did this for a colleague who's been nice to me all yr round.. hahahhaa.....

Anyways, i wanted to do only 1 container but Mummy convinced me that it was a waste of time doing 1 only... so, she made me do 2!... but in the end, i felt cheated by her coz i should've juz done 1 and get it over and done with sooner!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang..

There were soooo much white eggs left over which i tot i'll make meringue with.. but in the end i didn't coz it freakin took me half the day to finish doing 2 kek lapis!!... very tiring lor mixing the ingredients by hand and sitting in front of the oven for 45mins and layering the cake one layer at a time!.... so, NO MORE!.... or perhaps once a yr only!... no wonder it cost so much to buy!..

hmmm... now, wat shall i do for the last day of class next wk?... egg tarts or muffins??... hmmm... very indecisive.. i soooo wish to try and do cupcakes with frosting.. but i'm not so confident of doing the frosting.. any nice, easy recipe for frosting, peeps?... i dun want butter cream eh... anything with whipped cream or cream cheese frosting would be great! ;) thank u!...

damn!!.... of all days for the pants to koyak!... it had to be TODAY!!.... grrrrrr!!...... i juz bought this damn pants 2days ago!... now, i've got to buy a brand new one again!...

Our Eshan's getting nottier by the day.. he now cries more for attention.. he prefers our bed than his.. and lurrrvess climbing all over us.. and juz coz he's got 2 small bottom teeth - and i suspect his upper teeth are itching to come out too - he'll try to bite us!! so far, he's only able to bite my fingers which is damn painful lah considering he's only got 2 bottom teeth!.. but yesterday, he managed to bite my babat at the abdomen area lah!... wahlau!... gave me a shock siah!....

now, he's also trying to stand up.. sometimes in his "action" self, he'll let go and in less than 2secs, he'll plop on his butt!... hahahaha.... but he can now stand in his playpen..

so all the more he can bang the playpen, give us that sad doe-eyed look, asking to be carried!... hmph!...

and he is sooooo manja now that when we refuse to let him play with bro's laptop, he wailed out loud!!

She was induced earlier during the day.. takde warning eh... *wags finger at Ani* and gave birth abt 12hrs later to their first prince, weighing in at 3kg!... fuuuuyoooh!... secepat kilat!... ;)

anyways, well done girl!!... insya-allah we'll be visiting her like tomorrow today.. i hope to hear the labour details when we come to visit!.. wooopeee!!... i can't wait to see the baby!!!

on a sadder note, Nyai got admitted again.. this time the doc said that she suffered from a heart attack and having mild stroke or something like that... i juz hope she gets better.. ever since she moved in with us, she's been in and out of hospital.. i juz feel bad! :( pls pray for her speedy recovery... thank u!

ANOTHER YEAR..
waaaah!... how time flies.. i'm 27 with an 8mth old in hand.. ;) life has been bliss so far.. wat more can i ask for?... i'm contented..

as a ritual, i would normally list my "achievements" for the year.. but heck, i dun think i've got like a whole load of list... i guess the only achievement that i can definitely be proud abt is the fact that i delivered my son without the help of the epidural!... that was the greatest achievement and something i'm damn proud of myself in all of my 27yrs on earth besides that one time in 1996 when i achieved something else too tat was beyond my (and everyone else for that matter) expectation.. ;)

i had a great bday celebration which started with the chalet with Dearest and Eshan. We brought Eshan for a swim and my oh my! how he lurrrvessss the water!.. hahahha.. of course his first reaction was wailed out loud when i suddenly, without prior introduction to the pool, put him on the baby float..

but after some intro from Dearest, he "splashed" himself abt.. hehehe...

on Mon, bro treated the whole family to Straits Kitchen - my favourite makan buffet place! BEST!!..... and got the bunch to sing that irritating Hey! Hey! Hey! Happy Birthday! song.. aiyoh!... soooo blardy paiseh coz i was the first one they sung to that nite!!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang...

on the DAY itself, we went out shopping!!... shop! shop! shop! till my legs felt so freakin sore!!.... and it was also the first public transport outing for Eshan! i told Dearest, wat a day to choose to go public!.. got sooo many things to carry with a child on hand plak tu!!... but i'm glad Eshan pretty much enjoyed the time in the MRT "monkeying" with the handles... hahhaha....

If i decide to do it, Dearest better help me in taking care of Eshan coz it'll sure take up the whole day!... it is afterall for his Mother!... hehhehee... oh!.. i'm very happy that it's well-received by everyone..

now, i'm confident that i can sell off these tarts.. ;) so if anyone's interested, i'm selling the tarts @ $0.60 per pce (min 20pcs, max 100pcs only). no delivery. collect after 11am. Tarts guaranteed fresh and should only be consumed within the day. ;)

i've been wanting to do Madeleines for the longest time! i already have the recipe but i cannot find the container (or wateva u call it!).. so, i had to make do with baulu-lookalike shaped containers... i berangan want to do it during one of my off days.. but too bad lah... i think i shall try attempting it on Sunday instead!...

i really underestimated you this time but you've really done us proud.. i dun really care if it's really your good looks that got you to the top but you're the FIRST Asian Idol and that's the bottom-line...

truthfully, i dun really like Mike's voice and the Indian and Viet girl dun cut it... so, to me, it's bet Mau, Jac & Hady... anyways, i was dozing on and off throughout the 2hr show!.. but thankfully, i managed to wake up in time to see the results!... i was very much super excited waiting in anticipation who the winner would be.. my heart was beating pretty wildly as if i was rite there standing on stage.. hahhahaa... *yah!.. aku perasan!*

and after the results were out, i laffed to myself uncontrollably coz i juz couldn't believe it and Hady's first reaction was pretty priceless coz i'm damn sure he, himself could not believe it!!... oh! and the price that came along with the title is very, very nice indeed!... i wouldn't mind it at all!....

anyways, if i had known that he was singing Taufik's song, it would've motivated me to vote more for him but well, wat's done cannot be undone.. and if it was really as tight a race as it sounded, then, my 1 and only vote for him did make a difference afterall! ;)

anyways, can i juz say that Hady impressed me with his second song yesterday?... i've never seen him sing that kind of song and i was impressed though i must also add that there were some parts that we couldn't make out what he was singing.. hahaha.. but overall, it was impressive.. guess i underestimated him.. hehehe....

oh!.. can i also say that he's not a heart-throb when his hair is soooo kentalans in those short clips when they interviewed him... goodness gracious!... if he wants those female votes that they were all raving abt, then, i thank god the stylist (on the day of competition) know that that hair's gotta go!...

so, the question is now, who do i vote?.. coz i do lurrrve, lurrrve, lurrrrve that Phil girl... and i also think that Jac deserve it too with her freakin powerful vocals that made my hair stands!.. but i dun quite like her Gemilang performance.. very anggek leh... y eh?.. she wasn't feeling well is it?...

DONE PACKING..
yes!... i'm done packing!... my tables are cleared.. only left with a few stuffs that i need till next yr.. i've only 2 boxes to bring over + 1 box to bring home!.... urrrgghh!!... dun really have that much space at home to put anything!.... grrrr....

anyways, i hope nyai's blood results is OK enuff for her to go home today.. mummy booked us a chalet this weekend. If nyai's out, i might consider doing a bbq to celebrate my bday.. hahhhaa.... dah tuek pun nak celebrate!... hey!.. but birthdays are impt to me hokay!... :p

i did tiramisu last nite.. i hope it's ok today.. if not, i will not attempt to do it anymore!... it's my second try... but from the looks of it, i dun think it'll turn out ok... sucker!

ever since there's no que at the Donut Factory, i've been having a weekly fix on those damn, nice donuts!... haiz... there goes my intention of losing weight!... so far, i've only went out jogging ONCE 2 wks ago!... after sooooo long, i didn't know i had it in me to run at least 1km non-stop!.. hehehehe.... after that eventful day, it's been raining and nyai's in hospital.. so, i've got no choice but to postpone that every-Mon, Wed, Fri-jog intention!... baaaah!!... will i EVER lose weight before the next one comes along??!!.... gaaaaah!!!

WORRIED..
i went to see Nyai last nite and let's just say she's not looking all too good... i'm pretty worried.. i've never seen her in such a state.. and it never occured to me that one day, she would need to be propped up, coaxed into eating her medicine and wat have yous....

it really saddens me to see her in such a state. i held back my tears coz my aunties were there and i didn't wanna let loose my tears coz i know i won't be able to stop if i start.. she called out for Eshan yest but we never bring Eshan to the hospital coz of the germs found in hospital and all... anyways, i'm praying she'll get well soon!...

i hope today's the last day they inject that "special" antibiotic into her coz i'm pretty sure it's this antibiotics that's making her drowsy and weak. and i cannot bear see her hands full of bruises coz of all those needles they try sticking into her!... hmmm.....

ALMOST FREE, I HOPE...
after the wk long madness, i hope i'm almost free now to do my things and start packing!... but really, i'm actually juz procastinating.. i dun really wanna move and pack my belongings... gaaaah!!... how i hate it!... after wat seemed like the umpteenth time i pack my stuff since i've been here, one would have tot i'm used to it.. but noooooo!!... this time, i really have to pack and throw all that i dun need coz the new place will be freakin tiny and i can't be freakin messy like i used to and i can't hang my favourite Taufik, Anuar and Clay poster anywhere in the new office!!... *booo hoooo hoooo!!!*...

anyways, now that i'm almost free and still in procastination, being me, i started thinking of Eshan's bday (which is abt 4mths away)... i feel like doing a bday party for him but Dearst dun think it's necessary! party pooper! but i definitely won't do a big bday bash for him lah... i only like to celebrate such stuffs with close family and friends.. but i do hate celebrating belated bdays and his bday falls on a Thurs!... gaaaah!... so how eh?.... hmmmm.... i really can't decide!....

Eshan has spotted 2 bottom teeth!.. yippee!!.... 2 down, a lot more to go!... hehehhee.... when we're lying down, he'll try to use our body to stand up.. but not strong enuff to walk yet though... insya-allah.. the day will come... merangkak pun belum betul!.. hehehe.... i've decided.. the pacifier will go once he's spotted that 2 front teeth!... i'll try very hard NOT to give him the puting.. thank god he only asked for it when he wants to go sleep. so, we see how eh?....

oh!.. i've to put this down.. for the first time in my whole entire life, not only did my aunty paid me a visit just abt a wk + since she last visited, she came in FULL force!... and i really mean FULL force!... for the past 4days, it juz doesn't seem like it wanted to end!... there's soooo much so tat it spilled it's forces on to everywhere.. yes!.. it's that gross!.... thank god it 's kinda died down today.. i've to monitor this and juz hope that it doesn't happen again!...

I'M PISSED!
i can't believe that my aunty came to visit me yesterday! it's only been abt 1.5wks since she last came to visit!... and it's a blardy painful experience siak!.... ever since childbirth, the experience have been nothing but pleasant. sometimes, i even forget that she's in!... but yesterday, while lying on bed, it brought me back to the nite before Eshan was born.. it's that same pain-in-the-back feeling!.... macam nak terberanak lagi plak!...

btw, experienced mummies out there, is it normal for your menses to be very irregular after childbirth? my menses have been very irregular. normally it's super late and never this super fast. i read that it's coz the hormones are still not balance. baaaah!!!.....

anyways, it's too blardy painful rite now!.... and it's soooo blardy uncomfortable.. gaaaah!!!

A NEED OF A HOLIDAY!
i'm in need of a holiday.. a REAL need!.... when was my last holiday?... hmmm... let me see... it's my honeymoon!.. yah... believe me.. it's been THAT long!.... :(

but with Eshan still soooo young, we can't go by air. it's got to be by land or by sea... i'm planning a holiday with the Gang for either the CNY period or the Good Friday hols next yr to Malacca or somewhere across the causeway... but i've decided by hook or by crook, even if tis hol with them dun materialise, i will still go for that long-awaited holiday! i shall drag Dearest and Eshan to Bintan instead!... ;)

anyways, any suggestions for a holiday in Malacca or someplace resort-y?.... i dun think we need to do shopping... so, a place to relax and pig out is good!.. hehehee.... btw, Gang, ur comments on my email, plsssssss... thank u very much!... :D

oh! my!.. i've been "missing" for sooooo long!.... my workstation is in a total mess like a hurricane have just passed by scattering my papers all over the table that i can't even find my pens, stapler, calculator and puncher sometimes!... :( yup! it's that bad!

now that practically everyone has gone for their "National Service" (N.S) leaving me and 2 other colleagues in the office serving our N.S locally. i tot it would be less hectic here once they all left but lo and behold, i received calls after calls since Day 1!... grrrr.... sometimes, i dun get it!.. if u know that u'll be away for this period of time, why don't you tell earlier that you have to come back early for wateva reasons u may have?... like i got a call from this guy who says his bro's wedding is the day that he was supposed to come back.. like hello?!!... dun tell me u dunno when ur bro wedding is earlier?!!... wahlau eh!!!....

To Gather-gather

we had a gathering with the girls sometime in mid November? it was to celebrate Rosma's and Izy's bday but Rosma had to leave earlier so, Izy had no choice but to blow out that candle alone.. but it was D gathering of all the kids!... my oh my!.. how time flies.... from having only 2 kids at every gathering, we now have a sudden burst of baby shower with 6 kids in the house!.. come Feb, another addition to the group!.. wowee!!....

I attended my work buddy's wedding event... she looked radiant and soooooo different from her everyday look!.. hahaha... unlike my ex buddy who still looked the same as when she left us a yr ago!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang...

Audi Meets Eshan

We attended Dearest's colleague's son's wedding (:D It's never a direct relationship when u attend a malay wedding aye?) and met Audi (Joy's son) for the first time!... Audi was quiet but he's sooooo adorable!.... his pink, pouty lips are soooo kissable, i tell ya!...

Eshan

Eshan is beginning to crawl and he is strong enuff to walk in his walker!.. YEAY!!.... he recognises people oredi and depending on his mood, he will cry when people he dunno carries him.. if not, he's good as long as that person carries and walks him around.. sememangnya anak tu kuat jalan mcm mak dia jugak!.. hehehee... ;)

he's eating well, al-hamdulillah... we want to advocate healthy eating for him. I had a disagreement with Daddy.

Daddy: Let's feed him ice-cream.
Me: NO WAY!... no ice-cream!!
Daddy: When u were at this age, i've already begun feeding you with ice-cream and chocs.
Me: yah!.. see wat i've become?!... *shot him an angry look*

u may agree with my Daddy too.. but to each his own. I dun want my children to be as fat as me. I would prefer them to be like their Papa - Healthy living. His way of life. Gaaaah!.. it drives me crazy but with the no. of obese kids on the rise today and ppl suffering from heart diseases and wat nots, i'll play safe. He's still on his carrot, spinach and pumpkin diet. He don't like potato... but i'll try to do whip potato for him and see how he likes it..

ooooh!... he's also spotting that first white teeth at the bottom front... everytime he drinks, he will bite the cup and i can hear the sound of his teeth hitting the cup.. exciting!!... hahhahaa...

Other Ramblings..
after abt 1.5yrs of using my digi cam, it has died on me... i think i need to get it repaired!.. urrrghh!!... this is irritating!.... my cams keep dying on me after a yr of use!... i hope the repair will not cost me a bomb!

Nyai is not feeling well... mummy warded her in hospital yesterday coz she may be dehydrated from all that pooing she did the past week... health has not been good to her this year.. she's been in and out of hospital the past 6mths.. pls doa for her speedy recovery. Eshan needs her at home!... :(

My facial exam is set on 5th and 12th Jan.. my god!... it's tooo soon! i've not really memorised the steps... and i've yet to study the whole freakin facial theory book!.. :( how to sit for exam?!!!!!

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?
my god!.. i've been on hiatus for far too long!.... been terribly bz like a buzzing bee!.... oh gosh... i hope this week will pass in a flash!...

so wat's been up?... Eshan's trying to crawl... YEAY!.. the moment we've been waiting for.. yah.. as parents, we cannot wait for him to start crawling.. dun care how many people have told us that we dun want that to happen yet.. but noooo.... being the stubborn and excited parents we are, we juz want him to quickly crawl and quickly walk.. hehehhee... ;)

i also saw a hint of whitish line on his lower gums last fri... no wonder he's been suckling and pouting his mouth like a fish the past few weeks!... itchy lah... :D

other than that, i received orders for my egg tarts for Sat from Zetajones... al-hamdulillah, everything went well.. except, i couldn't make any extras coz that last batch of tarts fell and shattered!... urrrgghh... The comments from her was that all 100 pcs was swiped up within the day... (good!... coz it will not be nice if u keep it till the next day anyways!...) and that next time she can order from me again... insya-allah.... i'll take.. ;) but boy, was it hard work!....

aaaah!... back to work lah now.... :( something came up.. i hope i won't be asked to do something that i know for sure will be against my integrity... :((

THE MOVE
It's the big move today... abt 80% of the staff has gone to the new building. it's juz us now.. we have the toilet all to ourself.. i can sh!t all i want without fear of anyone coming in smelling my nasty sh!t!... hehehhe...

I'm sure gonna miss the teh-lite.. all thanks to Rosma who introduced this tea to me!... Ah-Eng Cafe closed it's doors yesterday after 32yrs in operation... *bummer*..

I'm back in a still-not-so-fresh-self... still having a running nose though the leak is under control. but my voice has turned coarse though i dun think it sounds like one mak nyah like kak yani.. hehehe... ;)

i can't remember when i had a record high fever of 38.9 deg!... no wonder i was all cold and feverish on tues!.. i shouldn't have come to work.. or at least shld've taken half the day off!.. baaaah!!... very regretted.. but heck!.. cannot afford to lah..

oh!.. in the end i need not go to the mtg!.. baaaah!!... pasal tu mtg, i went to work!... thank god, we escaped from doing that project... though i must say that a part of me do want us to be in it!.. hehehe.. juz for the fun of it all! :D but anyways, good thing also lah.. i dun think the dept needs anymore distractions than it already has!...

last nite at abt 11.30pm, Eshan suddenly woke up and cried as if we've beaten him... my god!.. wat a shock i had!!... everything we did couldn't make him stop crying untill Daddy jampi him, then he quiet down... mummy tot that we must've been to "somewhere" (read: X-files) but in fact, we only went to kaki bukit followed by parkway parade and back home by 9pm!... i think he must've had ngigau (nitemare).. kesian tau!... the whole nite i heard him crying cum whimpering every few hours... but he seemed alrite this morning.. so hopefully, no similar episodes tonite!...

UNDER THE WEATHER...
i've suddenly caught a cold.. bleagh... i wanted to take MC today but thinking of that meeting to attend and waiting for my T-shirt to come, i decided to juz come in to work!... :(

on top of this, we were caught in the rain this morning!... we were soooo drenched!!... definitely not a good start to the day... perhaps i should take half day?... hmmm....

anyways, i'm crossing my fingers that my boss will not need to do this major project.. else, i'll be the first target to help in this major project the orgn is undertaking... but i'm still gg for the mtg anyways, juz in case... so from now till 12 later, i'll juz pray that i won't be caught in between... *gulp*.. but i must say, it will be an exciting event... hmmm... we'll see lah... for now, i'm juz not in the mood for any kind of work!

did any of u catch this show on 5 last nite?.. it was hilariously stupid (read: kelakar bodoh!) hehehhe... it is a light-hearted, semi-sarcastic show touching on real issues.. aptly aired on a Sunday - to mark the end of a hoorah-hoorah weekend..

the casts were amazing with their "tongue" - they can change from having a typical Singaporean slang to a European(?) newscaster slang... they made me laff lah with the switches... hahahaa....

btw, in case some of u may not know it yet, the Amazing Race is back on Wed, 14 Nov at AXN... i saw the trailer once only and i think it's the US one and not Asia... but pls correct me if i'm wrong!... thanks!!... :)

wat is this i hear that Bumbo chair is not safe? was warned by the whole family to not let Eshan sit on it unattended.. like Duuh!!... of course there's always somebody with him whenever he's on the chair lah!.... but of course, there's the maid.. hmmm....

anyways, based on Bumbo's claim, their product is safe but not it's labels. They'll be changing the labels... but parents be warned - not to put child in seat on elevated places, unattended!...

we had that much anticipated mini gathering with the girl from Luxemborg - Mizzie.. Makcik Zanna was shooting questions at her from life in Europe questions to "Can i be your maid there?"... hahhaha.... Ms Sinus was supposed to be there but both she and Adam were under the weather...both u & Adam got a present each from her!... i'll see how i can arrange to give u the presents.

we had fun catching up.. life overseas is definitely tough with no support system (family to depend on).. we were thinking of how if one day she impregnates and deliver there.. mana nak dapat jamu and tukang urut? but if she were to deliver here, then she would still need to bring back the babe home and i dun think it's tat good to travel so far with a 1mth old babe in hand.. sheesh... very susah lor... kesian Mizzie...

Anyways, the 2 girls were gushing over how cute and hemsem my boy is... *blush!* well, hopefully he'll still have this baby face till he grows up.. ;)
