SERVING THE NATION
3 wks of serving the nation.. gosh!.. :( it has been sucky-doo so far.. not much of the work but missing my boys.. not tat i dun see them but becoz i'm on shift now so, it's a bit of a toughie!..
and it doesn't help that i've lied to Eshan the past week juz so i can leave the house in peace.. sure he'd cry after finding me missing but it's better than him clinging on to me and me feeling ever so guilty abt it! :(
thank god i heard that they've not made me "serve the nation" anytime soon after this!.. *yippee!* so i can relax a bit and not be bothered abt who'll take care of the kids later.. :D
anyways, had a session with the doc yest and was warned not to eat too much coz the babe's bigger than Eshan.. hmmm... now, i dun think i've eaten that much lah.. i've only gained like another 2-3 kilos the past mth.. the babe's at 1.5kg at 28wks.. hmmm... howell, gotta cut down if i want an almost full-term baby since the babe has to weigh less than 3kg!..
The doc tried to take a 4D scan of the babe but it came out slightly fuzzy.. so the scan didn't come out as clear as we'd like - but like he said - better than nothing!.. when got time, i'll put up the pix! :) apparently, the babe's sleeping during scanning and it also seemed like the cheeks are all chubby and round!.. like moi perhaps??!... *kwang.. kwang..kwang..*
i seriously feel like taking a week-long MC after all this NS thingie is over!.. my bottom-half needs a break!.. a big break - coz it freakin ache everytime i walk - and i've been walking a lot!! plus i think the water's retention coming!! :( but it doesn't seem as bad as when i'm carrying Eshan.. so tat's prolly why the babe's bigger than Eshan?!.. *hah!*
