A SNAKE, AN AWAKE BABE & Ms JEPUN-NE
I can't believe i slept 90% of the time in front of the telly watching Ms Universe, waking up juz in time to see Ms Jepun answer her question and see her crowned Ms Universe 2007. gaaaahh!!... btw, i dun think she answered her question with the brightest of minds.. but wat the heck! prolly the rest were worst - that's y she got the crown!... hmmmm....

over the weekend, it was a weeeeter bit exciting.. Daddy stumbled upon a snake in the dry kitchen (read: it's oredi inside the hse!!)!... he thinks it might be a baby python.. it's abt half a meter long and got "caught" between his sarong!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang.. luckily, he went to the kitchen on time to catch it.. if not, it could have gotten into nyayi's room and then, i dun wanna even think abt it!....

so now, the wet kitchen is lighted every nite.. we're gonna have to pour sulphur (?) around the kitchen premise so that snakes will not wanna enter... something like that... *shudders*.. thinking abt it, i must make sure i'm with Eshan all the time...

while that incident happened at home, we were out "shopping" but as usual, when i say i wanna shop, i'll end up with nothing!... *boo!* it was eventful coz Eshan was awake practically 90% of the time!... most time we bring him out, he's asleep 99.9% of the time!..

he's now more awake than before... though i dun think that he's that active.. hmmm... but i do have to thank my lucky stars that so far, he's been easy to take care of... he'll be 2mths this weekend!... tat means, i have abt 4more wks with him at home before i have to head back to work!... aaaaaggghhh!!!........

CRANKY ESHAN
My boy's been cranky of late.. it's soooo frustrating not knowing wat he wants!.. urrrrgghh!!.... he rejected the puting and milk and insisted on my nippies!... gaaaahh!!... and ever since he's on the puting, he drinks much lesser it seems.. haaaaiizz....

already, his lack of passing motion worries me.. now, this!... gaaaahhh!!!....

REALITY BITES

oh!... managed to catch the results this morning.. and yeay!.. yeay!... :D it's not surprising that Jordin won!.. ;) yes... sorry to all those who's catching the 6pm/8pm/10pm slot.. but seriously, dun tell me u think Blake even had the slightest chance?!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang..

and i do like that My Now song.. very nice.. but it didn't really suit either of them.. and to tell u the truth, yesterday's finals was the most B.O.R.I.N.G ever!... no fight at all siah!... all throughout Blake's 3 performances, i wished i was seeing Melinda instead!... sheesh..

i watched Anugerah on tues.. and i sure hope that the judges dun "power" sini "power" sana and then, i see that person getting the bottom 3 of the judges' scores!... *grits teeth* and they were soooooo (or can i say tooooo) positive that day.. ada complain ke??... kekeke..... :p

P DAY
The dreaded day had come... we really didn't want our lil' Eshan to use it... but after numerous advice from sooooo many ppl, we gave in and gave it to him.. wat is it??.... the PUTING or aka the PACIFIER!.... :(

We started giving it to him on Saturday... he was asking for too much milk!.... seriously!... one bottle after another... crazy isn't it?!... and when we didn't give him, he cry!... grrrrr..... so, tat nite, we went home with a heavy heart, knowing tat we'd have to stick it in him!... and haaaizzz... it worked!... he kept quiet and he slept rite thru the nite waking up 4hrs later for his feed!... (double the time he normally take, mind u!)...

sungguh dah tak handsome with that thing on him!... and it actually left marks on his chubby cheeks!!.... haaaiizzz...... the one gd thing that came out of this puting experience, i get to sleep 4-5hrs straight at nite instead of the usual every 2-3hrs. :)

Over the weekend, we aspiring make-up artists had a make-up assignment thanks to Ira.. and boy! was our table a mess!!... hahahhaa.... it was really an experience.. we had to do 2-3 "models" - make-up and hair - within 2 hrs? i sure hope my FDW dun turn into one of them one day!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang.. a bit scary lah..

oh!.. another newsflash!!.... i've mustered up enough courage yesterday to do my hair... think oprah or jordin.. ;) i can't stand my hair oredi lah... and i didn't want to rebond it coz 3mths down the road, it's back to square one... gaaaah!! initially, i do love it coz it's messy as hell!... and it sure has the same curls as my original hair.. ahhahaha.. but now, i'm not too sure... ur honest opinions plssssss....

BOO TO AI!
it's disgusting i tell ya!... how can Melinda be OUT?!.... and to top it off, it's even more irritating when i heard it from my own Mummy!.. urrrgghh!!... yeah!.. she knew it first and she had the cheek to tell me w/o hesitation juz coz she wanted me to go Robinsons with her!... grrrr!!....

i was sooooo looking forward to watching the greatest AI finals next week!... but now, it's juz like other finals where i can safely say Jordin's the idol this yr.. and America better geddit rite next week!.... :p

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

i know.. it's a day's late.. but HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all mothers esp to first-time mothers like moi! ;)

After being a mother myself, i then realise how much mothers sacrifice for their child(ren) and the love they put in to bring up their child(ren). Recalling wat Rasullah s.a.w said when a sahabat asked regarding the priorities of taking care of parents:

First comes your Mother

Second comes your Mother

Third comes your Mother

And then your Father..

That showed how precious Mothers are in the eyes of GOD..

Through this experience the past 1+ mths, i've learnt to be more grateful to my own mother and to love her like how i've loved my son.. Thank you, Mummy!!....

IT'S ALL ABT HIM!
Ani have commented that i should chg my blog add to incl Eshan in coz it seemed now that my entry's all abt him nowadays.. hehehhe.... yah lor!... i also notice.. can't help it lah.. he's my 'world' now till the end of my maternity leave!.. hehehe... ;) anyways, speaking of her - Ani -CONGRATS girl!!... ;) very, very happy to hear the news!... aaaaahh!!... cannot wait for end of the year!...

over the weekend, we invited peeps to come see our lil' Eshan. Also to celebrate his 1mth bday, Dearest's almost-finished degree course and his bro's pass in driving. there were too many ppl. Not only was i tired, the poor babe was also tired!!...

luckily for us, the ring of his circumcised birdie fell off a day before that event!.. his birdie now look sooooo clean and brand new! hehhehe... al-hamdulillah...

REALITY BITES!
i am oh-soooo-late to comment on this but better late than never!!.... it's abt Anugerah 07.. i didn't catch the live telecast of it's first episode but managed (by chance) to watch the rerun on Sunday! and boy was it a laff!...

i dun quite understand y they did wat they did for the first episode coz to me, it juz didn't quite make sense. annnnd tell me if i'm hearing it wrongly but it wasn't a "live" performance by the 4 grps rite??... they were lip singing and ALL of them sounded GOOD!.. it juz ain't possible!

if i'm right and they were lip singing, c'mon Suria!... u can do better!.. they are all supposed to be good live singers and that's why they're in this competition!??!!... if i'm wrong, i apologise but i did see one of the singers missed some lines!...

anyways, no offense to Fauzie Laily's fans.. but he kinda sucked. tergagap-gagap mamat tu.. but prolly coz it's his first time and it is a LIVE show!... but that's also the thing.. u have Anugerah Skrin (is tat wat it's called?) but how come they didn't get the winners or the finalists to host this program?...

from the first grp on Tues, it seemed that the girls are better while the boys are juz pretty faces.. their looks and their voices are good boy-band material!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang.. will see how the second grp fair next Tues.

oh!.. can i also say how it sucked to see Lakisha gone yesterday?!.. i sooooo totally want Blake to leave first!... brrrrr!!..... if Melinda and Jordin get into the finals, it's definitely the first American Idol final to die-die must watch!!.... and the first ever where i can't say i know who's gonna win it!... i can't wait!!!

1 MONTH OLD!
Yeay!.. Eshan is 1mth old today! ;) time flies soooo fast and i'm sooooo not looking forward to going back to work in appx 8wks time! *bummer!*

So what happened the past week?.. he was circumcised last Wed, exactly on our 1yr 1mth Anniversary!.. hahahha.... i was a nervous wreck thinking how painful it would be for him and how we'd panic if he starts crying and crying in the middle of the nite!...

my worry was sooooo unfounded coz he was only cranky the first few hrs after the circumcision and sleep like a log throuhout the nite only waking up for his normal feed!... *phew!* but nonetheless, he wailed and wailed at the clinic!.. it made me teared up too!...

His birdie was first "cooled"..

And then came in the doctor who gave him the jab at his birdie that made him wailed for mercy!.. at this point, i cried and almost regretted my decision to circumcised him at 3wks old!

Since he wasn't cranky and his birdie is healing well, we went out as a family on Dearest's bday last Friday!... but boy did he sleep and sleep throughout the outing!...

but thank god he's ok and looked comfortable in that car seat and stroller!.. though after the outing both of us kinda regretted not getting the kind of stroller that's facing us!... it's such a weird feeling going out with a baby in tow but at the same time, we're soooo reluctant leaving him at home while we "enjoy" ourselves!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang..
