SINGAPORE IDOL JUDGES!
The names of the judges are out and guess wat?!....they have chosen not three, but four! judges for the show!....And the judges are:
1. Dick Lee (as expected and hoped!)
2. Ken something??.....(hmmmm...i dun even know who the hell he is but is said to have "founded" and grooomed ppl like Phyllis Quek and some other names)
3. Florence Lian (a very, very old face in the radio scene...i wonder if she's catty enough, though she definitely looked "catty")
4. Douglas Olievero (is that how it's spelt??!..but SURPRISE!SURPRISE!...hmmmm he seemed like another Clive Davis??..)


As u can see, i'm VERY ecstatic (yeah! Rite!) abt the named judges!!!...def something to look forward to.....brrrrrrrr....But hey!...like dearie would advise me, "give them a chance"...they may shock you!......so, oklah...i may be wrong...but then again, would they be as entertaining as Randy, Paula and Simon?...they (excl Dick Lee) def do NOT seem to have (names I'm going to mention are whom I would lurrrrve to see on the show!!) Kumar's personality, Najip's frankness and Rahimah Rahim's frank but motherly, presence....


But we shall see!!...And we shall support, if not the judges, the 10,000 over ppl, I heard (did I get the numbers right??), who have signed up, risked being humiliated on national TV and never again can he/she step on the MRT or the bus, or in hope to becoming the next lil', rich, Will Hung!!....You guys ROCK!!....u guys will make or break the show!!...but u guys still ROCKS!...coz you've got the guts to try it out and take that chance!!!..... :D

A DAY ON SATURDAY!



At last!...both me and dearie get to enjoy the weekend!!....he's out of reservist, out of school!!...BUT of course...poor dearie had to receive his results on Friday nite and knowing that he failed one subject!!.......ALAMAK!...very, very bad news coz he's got to go to school 5 times a week! - instead of 4!!.....but, oh well!...there's nothing much we can do now, can we? Sat down at ECP to talk abt some plans..and then, had dinner at Simpang Bedok..much has been said abt this place..but my first time here, left me a bad taste and impression of the place!..Dearie ordered pattaya and guess wat?!...it's not wrapped like wat's it's meant to be!!...freaky shit!...i juz simply cannot stand Pattaya NOT wrapped!...and I ordered Dry Beef Kway Teow!....we felt soooo cheated after eating them coz it's TASTELESS!!....so much for being "famous"!...did we go to the wrong foodstall or something?...guys, if you've been here, tell me which stall is the BEST!!....

CONGRATS! Arlita...You looked pretty girl!!....Both me and Sarina feel very happy for you...at last, you committed yourself and settle down!!....hahhahaa.....and know wat??....u make me wanna take Zulradi!!...tooo bad we didn't have time to take a one-on-one photo with you! (all Rostam's fault!!)..but well, the make-up was very nice!...i really like it and the decor was sweet and simple!!...will go kepo2 with you one day!!... :D

DOWNTOWN EAST
Dearie was feeling down because on the way to nyayi's hse, we got "caught on camera" speeding!!...freaky shit, rite?!!....aiyah!...not sure how much we'll kena but most likely 4pts and $130!!,,,,arse!....but kena oredi, wanna say wat rite?...so had to cheer him up lor!!...We decided to head down to Downtown East since it was near and they're said to have PS2 shop or something..but in the end, it turned out to be X-Box lar!....It's not bad, u know!!.... Off-Peak: $4.80/hr Peak: $5.80/hr..and the place is cozy and comfortable...though noisy but expected, rite?...and they've got quite a range of games to play with!...the only thing i dun quite like is X-box controller is soooo difficult to control!...brrrrr!!...but yeah..we had fun...though at the end of the day, he's still thinking of that fine!!....damn the freaky camera!

Next stop, Singapore Idol!....I really wonder how it's gonna be!....would really lurveee to see "good, critical" judges on the show!...a lot of tongue lashing and goooood contestants, plssss...Tune in to News 5 on Monday to know who's the judges...and hell NO to The NewPaper, who had to go around snooping.....and NOW, it seemed that Najip Ali will not be able to be the judge!!....aaaaarrrggghh!!.......fuck!....Oh well!....hopefully, it ain't disappointing!...

FANTASIA vs DIANA

It HAS got to be FANTASIA!!.......she nailed it big time!!....WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!.......i only dun like her first freakin song; her rendition, i mean...I went "Why on earth, did she choose this song and sing it this way, mann?!!"....but hell yeah!...she brought the house down with her famous 'Summertime' song....*which will definitely make it to be her single later*.....and Tamyra Gray's 'I Believe'!.....fuuuuuYoooooh!!....really, really, awesome and she made me cry!!.....she sang with unbelievable emotion, talent and still maintaining her Fantasia-ism in that song-that really brought out her character and giving the song more life!...


To be fair to Diana, she did a marvelous job!...I tot her rendition of 'I Believe' was pretty goood (but it lacked character)...her second song was well done too (but yet again, she kinda overdo it)....and hey girl! u didn't nail ur last song and tat's gonna cost u tat WIN!


I hope Americans chose the right winner and we're juz gonna have to wait for tomorrow to know the results!....plsssssss, choose it RIGHT this time!!...wat I would really lurrrrve to see tomorrow:

GOSH!!......it's really the Bollywood Fever!....Guess who we met at Orchard Road??!!....AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!....Amitabh Bachan!!.......oooooH!....he's soooooo good-lookin' even at his age!!......


RosmAmaN and I were bored...so after work, we decide to go to McCafe at Scotts Road since she sooooo kempunan (desire) to have something there!....but before that, we wanted to eat at Puncak!...so along we were walking...and we saw a pretty huge crowd, i must say, outside Hyatt Hotel!...and then, we realised that the Bollywood celebrities were staying there!...so we got excited, went in line....and waited, and waited without knowing who we're waiting for!!...that was pretty hilarious to me, now, thinking back!!...hahahaha....


Someone went out of the hotel and the crowd went a bit crazy...both me and RosmAmaN shouted along...without recognising and knowing who it was!!...hahahhahaa.....then, the van left...the crowd died down a bit...say, abt 10mins later, the crowd screamed!!!....and there he was!...out of the hotel...waving......hahahhahaa.......i couldn't believe it!!.....it was pretty up, close and personal as we were pretty near the entrance...i can't describe where we were...except that I was pretty worried for RosmAmaN!!!......bloody hell!....we were a bit separated as the crowd around us went "WILD"....hahahhaa....the look on this Indian woman's face was pretty hilarious!...but hell!!...i was also laughing at myself after that coz that must have been my look when I meet Anuar....and/or maybe Clay (if he ever comes here!!).....


Anyways, RosmAmaN was right in front...the security officers were controlling the crowd.....and she....(and again, this is pretty hilarious!)....hahahhahaha.....was struggling with the batteries of her camera!!!...hahahahhahaa......the batteries were NOT in yet!!...





But alas!...she manage to put it in!...and take a few shots of Amitabh!...and there was one very nice one....i hope she downloads it on Monday!!!.. :)....Haiz....how I wish Rizan's still working at Hyatt!...then, we won't have to do this crazy stuff anymore!!!....hahahahahhaa......

a) Their clothes were "too revealing"!..they are not showing a good example to the kids who are watching the show tat nite!
b) Before saying, others, look at how you or your kids are dressing first! There's a lot out there who are dressed worst off than what's shown on TV!
c) DJ Shah on comments which kept saying a lot of kids were watching the show: "This is not a radio station for program KRAYON (a malay kids show variety prg). This is for all and rated PG!"....
d) One Indon commented abt how she dislike a lot of the listeners saying abt the revealing clothes and went on to say - "C'mon guys! It's only for ONE nite!...this is afterall, "PESTA PERDANA" not some "Halal-di-halal" show!..ONE nite to be merry and happy!
e) Someone rebutted this comment and said "God didn't tell us that it's OK to be "revealing" for juz ONE day!...it's NOT stated anywhere!..And, "ape je menggelabah bila di sentuh! Kalau dah tahu camtu, jgn pakai macam gitulah!" (Don't freak out when a guy touches you. If you do, don't wear like that in the first place!)-commenting on Sri Wahyuni's OVER reaction with Steve Emmanuel.
MY TAKE on all these: Well, at least they put on a shawl as cover..But it's true that you are a "celeb" afterall..and this is shown on TV where a LOT of ppl are watching. Once you're on TV, you're oredi publicising yourself! If the clothes are sponsored, I suggest that no more sponsored dresses next year onwards but let them be "themselves"!...coz Sri Wahyuni don't look good in that dress with that "OVER" character of hers!

a) Not appropriate to do that on TV! - In front of the wife some more!!

MY TAKE on all these: A very controversial issue, indeed! I believe, at that moment, an act of spontaneity of Jorah Ahmad. I believe, she was happy for her fellow colleague! But of course, yet again, you are a "celeb", a MUSLIM at it too! It's no wonder, tongues will wag! If you don't set an "example", then, who will? I'm not denying that I'm guilty of this act but hey! like I said above, as long as you don't go publicising that act, that's fine! Just respect each other and don't go beyond what's intended coz respect is what all of us need! Do it privately ie off-camera! :)

Juz my freakin luck to get stuck with the "Brainies" in this fucking workplace!!!......I have identified 3 "Brainies" here and introducing -

2. Ms Butt Brain (as i'm going to introduce to you guys..but she's actually been introduced. She's the Ms Bimbo in my earlier blog entries)

Ms BB thinks i'm stupid or wat??!!....after telling her that I can't use a particular accounting code and even showed her the freakin error msg, she gave me the most bimboitic, non-related answer - it should be ok because in this vote, there is $5000 funds inside!..halloooo??.....it ain't related girl!!....then, when i pointed out to her to that it's not related and it's not bcoz of the funds, she told me to have a try at it because it shld be ok...she used it before!!.....


Like, u don't fucking understand the fucking msg is it?!!....so fine, i did it...and guess wat??!!...she have changed it so that I can use it!!!...NABEY!!......she really thinks i'm stupid or something...or she's making a fool out of me!!!....coz i've got the evidence!! - i can't freakin use it the other time and there is an error msg to support my claim!!.....

SURVIVOR FINALE
Survivor has juz ended yesterday, with the most drama, emotional and romantic ending!!...I was soooo happy when Rob took Amber together with him to the last two and proposed to her before announcing the results!!..Soooooo lo-man-tic!!.....soooo happy for them!!....Amber looked soooo radiant and they look pretty in love!......


Alas!...Amber was given the $1M!....and not only that!! - the All-Stars are given a second chance at a shot of winning tat $1M!!....and who have to owner to give them tat $1M??.....US!! We are given a chance to take part in this All-Star tribal council!!....soooo exciting...we can go to CBS to vote for our favourite or more right - deserving player this season!!.... :D


My vote is going out to Rupert and Rob!...I think they played the game real well!....And yes, I think this is just a game!...and an All-Star at that!....u guys (speaking to Lex and Kathy), should know better than to let personal relationship interfere with the game!....I juz can't stand Lex!...how dare he "reprimand" Rob the way he did!....so wat if he did make a deal?..this is a game! - shld know better than to trust him!!....and u did the same exact thing to Ethan earlier in the game anyway! - DUH!!!....and Kathy! - u're another SUCKER!!....u cried when reprimanding Rob...but u forgot that at one point of time, when u told Lex u wanted to give him ur immunity and it looked kinda confirmed that u're gonna do tat, lady, wat did u do in the end?....NOPE! - u didn't give it away!!...y wasn't tat brought up anyway?!....

Some lessons we all can learn from the FISH philosophy and Who moved my Cheese, juz in case u have not gotten round reading up on it...


FISH Philosophy
I believe if these principles are put to good use in our workplace, life at work is soooo much better!!
Play - create a fun workplace!...have a few moment to "play" and have fun at work!...for eg Microsoft have a miniature golf along their corridors. They can play golf, if they're stressed; not being able to solve a technical problem, etc. It is evident that after a relaxing golf session, the staff are able to work better.
Be There - Be more attentive to your colleagues' and/or customer's needs. Show that you care; be a good listener. This way, it creates an element of trust more and reliability. Customers would be more appreciative!...
Choose your Attitude - What you choose to be when u wake up in the morning will have an effect on your day! So choose your attitude - You can:
1. Jump out of the bed, thinking "YES! A brand new day..and I'm looking forward to what it has in store for me today!"... OR
2. Drag your body off the bed and say "Aaaaaggghh!!!....What a tiring, black Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri....."
There's supposed to be a fourth one...but I can't remember liao...will go check and update this later...
*I really hope that the management went through this course. If they did, HAIZ....they certainly didn't do ANYTHING abt it!...I like what the CEO of Aspen Ski Resort did - he empowered his front line workers to suggest necessary changes because they're the ones dealing with the public and not the top management! And that's what our management should freakin do!!...Also, looking at Pike's Place example (the company which started this FISH philosophy), one fine example for all managers/directors and those in the same capacity should learn is, in order for your staff to be motivated to do well in their work, you should also do as much and as hard as how they're working for your company!.....to lead by example, plsssss....*


Who Moved my CHEESE?
This is all about anticipating and accepting change. What I've learned is to take a negative change and turn it or think of it as a positive outcome!...Be more optimistic and face these changes as a challenge!...well, it's easier said than done..so I really hope, i'd be more optimistic and positive now...but of course, I can't deny and won't deny the fact that the changes happening in my office is definitely irreversible coz only ONE bitch is running the show!...even the real management is juz her freakin puppets! :(

Hmmm...i really wonder how we can change our fellow Singaporeans???....I simply do NOT understand!!.....we're supposed to meet dearie's family at Choa Chu Kang and so, we decide to take a bus instead of the MRT coz it seemed further...and furthermore, taking a bus, can take in more scenery!.....and it's cheaper!......so off we went, took a bus down to whitley road, to chg to 190......waited.....and waited.....and waited........15-20mins passed and OH!...Look!....there's 190!!...........with a load full of ppl!!.......FINE......we waited some more.....waited....and waited....and waited......and "OH!...WooooPEEEE!"...2 190s are coming our way!!.....and guess wat?!!.....BOTH are full of PPL!!....one of the bus stopped and let in abt 3 ppl....when me and dearie tried getting in, the Apek said, maybe you can take the one behind.....the bus is coming......okie!....Fine!....we went down to look for the bus behind....the bus have left!!....NABEY!!...and guess wat! - we saw the bus that we wanted to board had gaps at the back of the bus!!!...TYPICAL!!!.....soooo irritated!!.....if I had known that the bus was like tat, I would have answered back to the apek to ask those ppl to move to the back of the fucking bus!!...


C'mon PPL!!.....u're not the only ones who wants to reach home, or go Choa Chu Kang, k?!.....How come the government can instill all sorts of stuffs into us but simply cannot instill a simple act of courtesy or graciousness into our lifestyle??!!...but then again, these acts of courtesy and being considerate to others are supposed to be IN us oredi!...so why is the government still doing courtesy campaigns to "educate" us?!....shouldn't educating acts of courtesy and being considerate to others be taught by our parents?!....and not only that! - courtesy campaign is held practically every year!....without much progress from the ppl, i see!...


I suppose, it's an act of one that leads to another...we're known for being kiasu!...and we're known for being "competitive" in this rat race country we're living in...hence it's a domino effect! - everyone would start thinking - if he/she can do this, i can too!....why should I move to the back of the bus since the other day, they don't do that for me?! Being in a competitive environment too, everybody would compete for a seat in a bus/MRT!....they'd just rush into the MRT without thinking that there's ppl inside wanting to get out!!...tat's wat happened to me, Yana and Juani the other day!....they rushed inside without letting us 3 go out first!!.....AAARRRGGGHH!!!....irritating isn't it?!!.....


So that's how we started off our Mother's Day Celebration! luckily, after tat, it went uphill for us!...though tiring, but we had loads of fun and loads of food to eat!! :D But of course, end of today, marks the start and beginning of tomorrow....won't be able to see my dearie for the next 3wks except Sat and Sun (crossing our fingers tat he'd be back on the weekends!)....!....will feel soooo alone!...no one to send and fetch and "entertain" my silly, wilful antics and demands!.....RosmAman!.....dun take leave or MC hor!.....and go back to Kallang with me, plssss....hehehehhee.... :D

AAAAAAHHH!!!!....
My face!!!...it's filled with pimples-look-alike!!....went to facial juz now and she dug out all my hidden "oil glands"...and damn!....now, half my face is covered with red dots!!!...ewww!!....not sure if I can use make-up tml!!.....*NOOOOOO!!*.... the timing like juz rite lor!...... *hmph!*....tml taking half day to spend time and go out with dearie!...and weekend, celebrating Mother's Day with dearie's mom and then, mom!!...would be taking pictures, perhaps...and darn!!!......mum said to bear with it for a day or two!.....i'll see how it goes.....boooo-hoooo!!!.......


but she sure was good lor!.....she took out these "oil glands" and showed it to me...and she's "rectifying" my eye-brows.... *sure dearie would have a fit seeing me with "new" eye-brows!*....hahahhaa... it was a painful facial session, but well, like she say lor... "who says facial is relaxing?".... if you wanna look good, must tahan!!..... i think, girls who "suddenly" have red dots on their faces went facial and was given this treatment!....i felt like she had literally dug and scrape these things off my face!! it's sooooo freakin painful!!......but hey!....i read up on these "oil gland" thingie here, and well, it ain't so bad afterall, having it dug out!....there's a price to pay for every beauty you want to attain, anyway, rite?!.....beauty don't come easy!.....if you have it, maintain it!...if you don't, work and pay for it, lor!!.....so both ways, SUFFER is the word!!... ;D

BEING CHEEBYEE BRAIN FOR A DAY!
I'm tired, sooooo beat up and soooo exhausted!!......was telling Tee yesterday that being Ms CB for a day, won't be that bad afterall!!.....you can get away with anything because ppl know that you're Ms CB and they can't do a damn thing abt that!!.....


So juz for a day in a week, walk into the office and act blur to wateva ppl said - "Huh?! Why must do this ah?"..... "I've not done this before!...u do leh..".....uuggghhh!!!!.......irritating bitch!!.......haven't do this, then, cannot learn har?!!...nabey!!........

But hell!.....today, didn't wake up being Ms Cheebyee!....woke being "Clumsy-Me"!.....Damn!!.......Had to go to work myself coz dearie's having his exams in the morning so was walking towards the bus stop, and "trrrruup-pup"!.....I FELL!!!.....DARN!!....and fell on the same knee some more!!.....soooo malu!!.....

Wow!!...Yani's engagement party is one that I've never been to before!!!.....hahahaha...(well, maybe in the future I would! since my bf's family is somewhat like that too!)...but it sure is full of people and so full of "life"...soooo different from my engagement party!...hahahhahaa......


Pretty sure that her relatives were as excited as her!..her parents and her brothers!!....but Yani, why eh? Farhan very shy har??...hahhahaha....like tak kena gaya leh with me!....i lurrvee her bouquet of flowers!....very nice!!.....and there's like 10 dulangs to give to Yat!....Untung Yat!...sooo many chocolates!!......YUM! YUM!......the one thing I find very unique is MANGOES!!.....WooooHooo!!.....Yat loves mangoes har??.....hahhahaha......

$140K for Reception?!
Since most of us are in the kawen2 mood, would like to tell you guys about this person's wedding which i read in The NewPaper yesterday... She is gonna spend like $140,000 just on reception!!....that had better be "the wedding of the year!"....spending that kind of $$$ on just reception?!!....WOAH!!...


Would you spend that kinda money on reception??.....hmmm.....no doubtlah wedding is once in a lifetime, tat is if fate (so-called) don't play a cruel joke on you! But isn't tat a waste of $$ and effort if fate takes it's turn for the worst in your relationship?!...hmmmm......I won't deny that I'd want a grand wedding for myself but I'd definitely won't spend $140K for it! - Not unless I've got millions to throw or if I'm an artist like Yusry and Erra (who even then, i think don't spend that much since a lot of it is sponsored!)!...hahahhaa......
