i wanna whine my heart out!!!... i feel like quitting my job!!!!........ urrrrgh!!... i dunno y... but the lazy bones in me are overwhelming!!..... :(

I'm given this project which i personally think should've been my bud(-dy)'s project coz my bud did tis before and this is juz a continuation of what has already been done before by her!!.... so why is it given to me eh?!.... *sobs! sobs!*...

aiyah... all i know is, i dun have the "heart" to work here anymore!... i think u can throw me anything - any projects at all, and i'll still feel like shit coming to work everyday of the week!... *booooohooooo!*...

and then, there's talks of additional work and change in our jobscope somemore... i guess i should be happier since i'm always complaining i'm bored coz there's not really much work to be done! BUUUTTT... like i said, there's no "heart" anymore... plus it's not that i like that additional thing that we have to do!.... :(

but i know, after all these are said, I CAN'T quit my freakin job!!!!!...... urrrrgghhh!!!!!.... not yet anyways!.... do i need a holiday to freshen me self up?!.... i think i doooo....... *hint! hint!*

TIRED AND SLEEPY...
The fasting month is taking a toll on my body i think??... i'm feeling terribly, terribly tired and sleepy... all i think abt is SLEEEEPP once i step into the office.. the only time i'd feel a tad fresher is after lunch.. coz that's when i get my full 1hr power nap!...

the office being too quiet and with no one to talk to (except the occasional bitching sessions i have with my new buddy), is making me MORE sleepy... i can juz close my eyes now while typing this entry!... baaaaahh!!!..... :(

yesterday, me and Dearest went to Geylang to look see for our pair of baju kurung for our first Hari Raya as Husband and Wife.. annnnndd.... i can't freakin find anything i fancy!!... damn it!!.... and Geylang is also not as hyper / lively as i used to know it as... but it's probably because it's only the beginning... hmmm... but i definitely do need to get our baju before raya!!!...... and i dun wanna go there when it gets too crowded to even shop sanely!...

received an email from frenz today abt the new Uncle Hady Mirza... his first nephew, lil' Imran Mirza sooooo looked like him... hahhahaa.... Congrats, Hady!.. it's weird that Taufik also received a new family member, another niece (if i'm not wrong) abt the same time when he got crowned the Singapore Idol!...

My throat is already oh-so-soar from screaming the past 2 days!.. wat with the lack of water.. it's throbbing now!... *bleagh!*.. niways, my heart-felt congratulations to HADY MIRZA!!!.....

Wooohooo!!!..... he won! he won!...

it wasn't juz a small margin but a whopping 70% of the votes on his side!! (as reported by TODAY...) WOW!!.. never had i imagined!... his fans were overwhelming.. but apparently, no action leh!!...... kwang.. kwang.. kwang...

yesterday's opening of the show was GRRRRREAT!!... ;) Taufik came out looking all smart and suave with his song, I Dream, also accompanied by the 2 finalists... hmmm.... but Taufik really did outshine them lah... totally lurving his performances.. only disappointment, he only came out twice!.. urrrrghh!!.... i waaaannntt MOOORREE!!!...

anyways, nevermind.. important thing was, we had fun... Rahimah Rahim's rendition of that "I Love you, Baby" song was fantastic!!..... made me groove baybeh!!... ;) her voice is still deliciously nice considering her age... if only we were all standing, i think i'd be in a sweat, breaking out in a dance!!... it was that damn HOTTT!.. HOTT!!.. HOTTE.. performance!!... :D

oooooh!... i soooo enjoyed myself... now, i can't wait for that Robbie Williams concert!!!!..... hehehhe.... Ms Quirky, remember our date, hor!!... keep the tix for us!!.... :D

TOUGH FIGHT!
The atmosphere was electrifying!.. really beat watching the show on TV!!.... but i was seated amongst quite a number of Jonathan's fans so, it felt as if it was juz me shouting out for him at the back!.... gaaaaah!!.... plus, i MUST say Jon's fans were overwhelming, to say the least!!!.... but i bet, Hady's fans must be at home, screaming their lungs out.. al-maklum, first day of Ramadan!... :)

When Jon started the show first and sang snow patrol's song, the alarm went off!... it was good!.... but then Hady went on stage to sing that Freedom song by George Michael and he got me swinging and dancing in my seat!!!..... it was tat damm good!... he was entertaining.. i was entertained..

second song, i dun quite like the original composition... in Dick's words, it was quite sad... but i think it's also the way Jon interprets it... not only that, it doesn't really sound like an original composition.. coz it seemed like i've heard it elsewhere before!.... wahlau eh!.... so second round goes to Hady again!.. Y of course!! coz he brought that Chaka Khan (?) song as if it was his own!.... lurrrvvee it!!....

and then the third round, i have to say that Jon won that round.. simply coz it was juz more entertaining... however, Hady's version of that original composition was definitely better than Jon's!....

oh!... can i juz, juz say that the judges were damn blatant abt who they prefer to win the title??.... except for Flo of course, the rest were blatant abt their choice!.... wtf!... BIASED!!!.... and everytime i shout out that word to the judges last nite, i got a nudge and a "shut up" from Dearest!... baaaah!... wateva, Darl.. it's THE truth, mah!!.....

Dick said Hady was "off-pitch" in his second song but Jon was practically perfect in ALL his songs!... huh?!.. frankly, he was mumbling through all of his first few lines of every song.. coz when we were there, we didn't know what he juz sang or said!... and then, Ja got NOTHING to say abt Hady?!... ooooh.. but got quite a lot of nice things to say abt Jon!... and then Dick gave subtle hints to Hady abt him not being more appealing than Jon but at least he acknowledges the fact that Hady has a better voice than Jon!... gaaaaah!!.... BIAAAASS!!!......

anyways, the votes will be in today!!.... i dunno y but i get a feeling that Jon would win it this year.. *plssss, prove me wrong!!!*.. but i dun care! will still vote for Hady simply coz he's MORE deserving!!.... but frankly, no matter who wins, they're both deserving.. they put on a good show for us.. however, TAUFIK Batisah is the better Singapore Idol than the both of them!! ;) hehehe...

Fasting is coming... our first Ramadan together as husband and wife.. We may spend that very first day with hysterical, screaming fans of both Hady and Jonathan (if I can convince my Dearest to go to the Indoor Stadium, of course!) or spend the evening at home, glued to the TV with only ME screaming for Hady, at home!.... either way, there WILL be screaming and we WILL have to spend that first day of Ramadan with Hady...

Met Rosma after work yesterday to make our dreams come true... hahahhaa... Rosma saw the ad for make-up classes at Kimarie with an 80% Mendaki subsidy!... we both got sooooo damn excited coz that's wat we both wanna do in a looooonggg while!...

so, now, once Mendaki approves our application for the subsidy, we'll start our classes sooon enuff!.. yippeee!!!.... we both can't freakin wait!!!! ;) and we both started to daydream last nite of wat we can do once we get this advanced diploma.... waaaaah....... very the berangan... but who cares?!!!...... i very the like our "dream" plans!!...... :D

Anyways, bro was back yesterday with a LOT of goodies - SNACKS - to share!!.. double WEEEEEEE..... anyways, he brought back this custard puff thingie that was sooooooo freakin fluffy with soooooo much light, creamy custard inside, it was daaaamn HEAVENLY to eat!!!..... yummmmieeee!!.... i was too excited, too hungry to take a picture of it!.. hahaa.. no fret ah.. he's got another trip to Japan. will get him to buy it and i promise i'll take a picture of it this time!!.... *drools*... sesungguhnye aku berpuasa... hehehehe....

EXCITING WEEKEND..
Wasn't in the office yesterday, hence the zero update for the weekend.. it was an exciting weekend!.. woooo hooooo!!!... :D

We spent the Sat with the girls and our respective other halves... first up on the agenda was a surprise bday celebration for Rosma..

i did up some custard puffs and Ms Gems did that bday look, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with rainbow chips!.. hehehe.... ;D

and i can't help but notice the similarity between her and her ex teacher!..hehehhehe... Dearest Mrs Goh!.. too bad i dun have a picture of her now.. but if u watched SI when Hady visited his ex Sec School, u'll see her in it!!... ehhehee....

and then, the real bday celebration - an advanced one - for Baby Aliyyah who's turning 2 on 21 Sept..

ooooh... lurrrve that cake from Royals Cake... Baby Aliyyah is somewhat amazed with the candle coz most of the pictures we had, had her looking at the candle inquisitively!.. hahhahaa..

oh!.. and then, how can i NOT have this picture of my cute, cute god daughter in her very cute but nakal pose?!....

One complaint though.. why the hell did organisers arrange for some concert combining the 2 seasons of SI on the first day of Hari Raya?!... do they have any brains at all?!... do they think that we, Malays don't go visiting on our first day of Hari Raya?!.. i think that's the MOST busiest day of the month!!!.... and that's the MOST stupid day of ALL days to make that concert!!....

anyways, yesterday, there was this half-Aussie, half-Chinese boy who visited the office coz he was waiting for his grandma who's in a mtg with our snr mgt.. annnnddd... i was one of the "freer" ones, i supposed that he chose to entertain him!... gaaaaahh!....

he asked "why to Singaporean say 3, 'tree'?"... shouldn't it be "th-ree"?? and then he asked me how do say "don't know".. this time, i must have gotten my pronounciation right coz he asked "why do some Singaporeans like to say "Dunch know" instead?"... hahahhahaa..... wat to say to that har???.........

HADY! HADY! HADY!
A deserved standing ovation for my favourite Idol wannabe - Hady Mirza. Best performance of the night. No doubts abt it!.... love it! love it! love it!.... ;) based on last nite's performance, there's not a single doubt in my mind that he's deserving of our next Singapore Idol title.

The other 2 gave a disappointing mediocre performance.. My bro, who was rooting for Jasmine only last week (and tot that he could do the same this week), was given unmerciful critisicms n cat-calling from me!.. hehehehe...... how could Jas have fucked up one of the nicest, easiest country love songs on earth?!..... weak opening, weak vocal, weak performance... all that tremendous improvements shown gone down the drain... and the second choice of song?.. look - u dun have wat it takes to BE Carrie Underwood. You've got potential but you don't exude the charisma and the strong vocals needed to take on big songs from Carrie or Christina. C'mon girl!.. wake up and listen to yourself...

Jon's first choice of song was a good choice. His second one however, really lacks energy and wat's with emphasizing the word "oonn"??.. hahahhaa.... everytime tat word came out of his mouth, i laughed!... but niways, a definite contender in the finals.. at least Jon can choose right songs for his vocals. The only problem is, he lacks range but he's definitely a better performer than Jas..

baaaah!... can't wait for tonite!!..... i hope it'll be Hady and Jon.. but looking at the way the vote's going, Jon may be going home... coz it seemed Jas has more fan-base than him!.... gaaaah!...

oh!.. oh!... i juz gotten my first official customer for my cookies and cupcakes!... :) thanks Yanti for the order!... will try to do a different design from Rosma's hor.. ;)

A PACKED WEEKEND..
The weekend was packed with activities!.... Friday was spent baking cookies... followed by a trip out with Ah-Xin and Pei Pei to Mad Jack...

It was Pei's treat for us as she's gained a fortune, i believe, from some profit-sharing.. ahhahaa... :p but anyways, THANKS Pei!!!! ;)

After Mad Jack, we sat and chill at Samar.. and discovered her bagful of cosmetics!!...

she actually brought along this much cosmetics to work. EVERYDAY!!... wahlau!.... even I don't do that!.. ahhaha...

and for the record, this is how big her bag of cosmetics is... we'll see if it grows the next time we have a get-together!... ;)

And on Saturday, i spent the day baking cupcakes for Syaza's bday... and boy!... was I tired out at the end of Saturday!..... the 2-days spent on baking sored my arms!.. hahahhaa... seelah.. this is wat happens if u dun really do much labourious work at home!.. hehehehe....

but anyways, i must say, i found it fulfilling coz it's really something i do enjoy... so errrmmmmm.... rosma, if there's good comments on my cookies and cupcakes, and there's a market for it, i dun mind taking orders and see how this "business" of mine goes.. hehehehe... ;)

and on Sunday, the bday girl was somehow resistant towards us - me and Ms Gems... y eh?... sungguh tak syiok kalau dia eksyen camtu!.. hahahaha...... but she's cute nonetheless - tis god daughter of mine..

and i can't help thinking that it was on purpose that they chose that "Growing Old with You" song for Paul.. coz i dun think that he should sing that song at all!.. it's not really an "Idol" song!.. if u know wat i mean?!.... and of course, Paul didn't nail it!.. like who will?.... it's more of a talking song than a song - song!... anyways, Ken gave it away by subtly implying that Paul won't make it today! duuuuh!!!.....

THE CROCODILE HUNTER...

I just received the news that my favourite Crocodile Hunter has died earlier today from a stingray strike.

I can't believe he's dead.. i HAVE to watch the news tonite to be certain!... no mater how irritating he was most of the times, i have to say, he was very entertaining indeed...

His shows are wat i look out for whenever i tune in to Ch 10!... now, no more of that passionate, enthusiastic, man that irritate the hell out of me evertime he goes "Isn't she a beeeuutie??" or every other lines that he like to use on his shows!!..... :(

Definitely, he will be missed and i juz can't help thinking of his poor 2 kids who are still sooooo young.. but i'm sure, his daughter, will follow on his footsteps... oooooh!... i'm juz sooooo sad by the news!!!!!!...........

My prayers are for you Mr Crocodile Hunter. You will be missed..

A YEAY and A BOO-HOO!
First Up, YEAYness to Joakim being ousted!... at loooong last... thank god for sparing all of our ears and also my posture (from cringing everytime he sings and looking like a prawn at the end of his songs) on every Wednesday!!...

A BOO-HOO because it seems that my face is cracking!!!....... uweeeekkk!!!...... how ah??!!.... it's not cracking lah.. it's more like peeling... and it's a huge patch on the left of the face near my nose all the way down to the chin area!!!.... aku sungguh the sedih!!.... very the sad... i've put on moisturiser everyday... the other time, i put moisturiser in the morning and before i go to sleep - it got better and then i discontinued it coz laziness got the better of me!.. and now, it's here again!!..... damn it!!!!.....

and I was juz telling Dearest yesterday, how i now HATE.. hmmm... is it too strong a word?... oh! who cares!... i simply HATE waking up in the morning and go to work!.... seriously, the tot of quitting (and becoming a tai tai) has cross my mind soooooooooo many times - i'm tempted to juz go!..... brrrrrrr..... but Dearest needs to earn his first $5K job before i can simply juz go!!!...... hmmmm.... Dearest, Dearest, plssssss pass your exams and complete that degree next year and get a real good-paying, better remuneration job so that both of us can really live happily ever after??.. hahahhaa... :p

anyways, had a hopeful dream last nite.. i hope it's meant as a sign.. and i do pray that everything falls into place... i can't believe i'm saying this but i really can't wait for MONDAY!!!!.............. haaizzzzzz...... wat a long, long wait to that day!!! :(
