IS IT STARTING?
I couldn't sleep last nite. i kept tossing and turning in bed. couldn't breathe properly. kept peeing. and now, i'm at work feeling all sleepy... :(

as it is, Dearest have decided to send me to work by car. so we have to leave home by 6.15am so that he can send me and reach home before 7am!... if i had my way, i would still be riding the bike every morning but he's worried coz i'm oredi in my 8th mth.. 2more mths to go.... hmmm.. how time flies eh?....

i'm sooooo worried of insomnia coz my body is really "weakening".. i'm soooo tired easily.. i'm literally falling asleep while working!... my legs feel heavy at the end of the day and all i really wanna do is lie on the bed with my feet up.. so i really can't afford to not have sleep. i NEEEED sleep!!!

God help me make it thru the coming days, plsssss.... i hope to last till i deliver.. so till then, i hope my body's strong enuff to carry me thru... amiiin....

i do want Rob and Amber to win. but i doubt they'll win it coz they're the first in the line-up. i can see Amber's nicer this time round while Rob is still Rob!... hahahaha..... and i lurrrve the flamboyant nature of Team Cha Cha Cha... but they won't win it too coz they're the last in the line-up!... hmmmm..... and i cannot, cannot stand Charla and Mirna yesterday!... they're like freakin dramatic!!!.... wat the hell was that with the taxi driver?... i simply don't understand!...

just for the record, i would like to thank my great girlfrenz for giving me that Rowenta Lissima hairdryer cum straightener for my bday present!... i used it this morning and boy!!... did it work wonders!!!... and it saved me time as well!!... I LURRRVVEEEE IT!!!...... thanks girls!!! ;)

I'M A WRECK!
I'm an absolute wreck!!.. literally!.... in the mornings, my hair looked like it's been electrified!... totally wiry, curly, frizzy and wat have-yous.... a TOTAL MESS!... i wish i'm brave enuff to make a fool of myself on the WORLD WIDE web.. but nooooo..... me no fool... dun wish to put up a very ugly me on my own webbie!...

i juz HATE my hair now... absolutely HATE it!.... and i sweat buckets too!.... and that explains the messy hair!!... urrrgghh!!!.... the 2-storey house doesn't help either!... i've to rush thru my make-up and hair-do before going down to do breakfast and then go up again to collect my stuffs and do any other touch-ups - basically to straighten my unruly hair. AGAIN!...

by the time i reach the office, my nose gets oily and for some reason is redder than other parts of the face - tat made me look like i've got a stuffed, fat nose!... :( freakin depressing leh!!.... on one hand, i want the babe to come out earlier.. but on the other, i would prefer it to be in me for the full 40wks!!!... haaaaizzz.... i think i may (read: this would depend on how my delivery process takes place) have to agree with the SIL - the labour/delivery pain is nothing compared to the 9mths of nausea, water retention, oily nose/face, insomnia, etc.. etc...

Joy, ur time is almost up!!... (lucky U!) our best wishes to u and babe!.... dun worry abt the pain and all... insya-allah, u'll have a safe, smooth, normal delivery.... good luck, dear!!! :)

btw, did u guys watch Pesta Perdana on Sat??.... how the hell did that Ismail Haron's song got cut off?!.... alamak!!.... definitely feel like smacking the person who screwed it all up!.... tat was a total boo-boo... i dun have yesterday's BM... so i'm wondering if they did clear it up??... anyone knows??.... as it is, it was dedicated to a dead person - a very touching story indeed! And then, thanks to the screw up, we all now know that he was lip singing the song!.... kwang.. kwang.. kwang...

oh!.. but thank god taufik's live!!... lurve, lurve, lurrrrrve his performance... but y only 1 song?!!!... after the wait for that "special" performance by taufik, i only get to hear 1 song?!... alamak!!!... tak cukup, babe!.... another thing that i'm quite perplexed by - y in the world is taufik in that "Most Popular Artiste" nomination??.... dun get me wrong here.. more than happy that he's in it and certainly NOT surprised that he won it!.. but wat i dun understand is, y is he nominated in the first place - coz i tot this Pesta Perdana is for the actors/actresses/directors/producers etc.. etc... wheareas, he is a singer.. only apt to put him in that list in Anugerah Planet Muzik mah??..... and like c'mon!... he's THE Singapore idol!... he'll definitely win in that category!.. the rest won't stand a chance lah!....

oh!.. that bintang cilik girl is also sooooo cute!... "citer ape?" hahhaha... yah!... how come never announce which show she won for since she got nominated for 2 shows in 1 category?... i'm sure she has a different list of ppl of thank for the different shows!.. sheesh!.... but i'm glad she won!... i do lurve her performances... she's a "bright star"... sungguh menjanjikan!...

and i dun like the ending!... no finale?!.... i pity the 3 hosts who gotta stand there and "dance" their way to the end by themselves... kecian...

other than the screw ups here and there.. the whole show is quite colourful - the dresses they wore were beautiful. the ala broadway theme was refreshing and the 1-man "ring master" - Suhaimi Yusoff - was more entertaining than having him co-share the stage with a pretty host. And best of all, at very LOOOONNGGGG last, Cik Sal won not 1 but 2 awards in one nite!.. CONGRATS, Cik Sal!.. u truly deserve it!... ;)

so, next show to watch out for would be APM.. i wonder if i can get to watch it LIVE?!.... when eh??.... anyone knows??

GIRL IDOL THIS YEAR?
i soooooo lurrrve Lakisha's performance yesterday!.... sooooooo emotional, sooooo blardy powerful!... and based on yesterday's performances, the boys were not anywhere near the girls' standards at all!!!.....

there were at most 4 girls who don't deserve to make it to the top 12.. but there were at least 8 boys who don't deserve to make it to the top 12!... *boooo!* but seriously, overall, the standards are juz NOT there!... not like in previous years where the idols wannabe made it hard for us to choose who should be ousted!... hmmmm......

it's the first results show today... not as exciting since i've oredi guessed as much WHO should be out!.... but anyways... yippee!!..... my weekend starts now... i'm OFF work... ;)

i'm feeling sleepy... really sleepy today... i have to catch the 8 o'clock idol show tonite so that i can sleep by 10pm!... *yawns*...

btw, from yesterday's idol show, it seemed that the judges got a wrong grp... to me, only 1 stood out - and that was the last guy... well, i also do like the song.. but though he was the best, he still did cock up the front part of the song!... urrrrgghh!!.... i wonder how the girls will do today!... but i think the Indian guy will go tomorrow - he's too nice and the only thing that stood out was his HAIR!.... lovely locks he's got!... heh!.. :p

been wearing dresses the past few days... and i'm feeling soooo makcik-like!... :( but i've got to say, wearing the dresses are much more comfortable than wearing pants!.... the babe's kicking more furiously now and his actions are pretty painful most times!.... urrrrggh!... there he goes again!... can 5.30pm come quickly?... i am really falling asleep..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.................

MERRY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
i realised that i didn't manage to make a greeting pre-New Year!... so, here's wishing all Chinese a prosperous, joyous, healthy new year ahead!.... since it's the year of the "golden" pig, may it bring you all the luck and prosperity.. ;)

hopefully the rest of us not celebrating have had a relaxed, super long break!... though it was super long, it was equally super short!... can't believe i'm back to work!... baaaah!... boooorring!!.... :( but the break was filled with activities!.... we headed out to IKEA on Sat to grab some stuffs for the room.. it was quite a sprint!... reached there in 15mins and completed our shopping in 1hr!.... y?... coz IKEA closed at 5pm and we can only leave home at 3pm!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang... but anyways, Dearest did the cleaning up and assemble the furniture we bought from IKEA on Saturday night itself!.... our room is now almost complete. juz waiting for the contractor to come drill some holes to put up some shelves and mummy to order curtains for all rooms...

on Sunday, went to see Murni's son - sooooo semangat now oredi!.. must be from the nutritious milk branded Murni!... ;) got an earful from her too!... alamak!.... she nagged abt me drinking too much! but then hor, how to control?... i freakin very thirsty lor every now and then!... and i can't help it mah!.... urrrrgghh!!..... oh!... one makcik at her place tot that i was due very soon coz of my very bloated self!.... sheeesh!....

on the second day of the new year, we went visiting as normal.. and i was assured by Aunty Shirley that my babe will be a pretty babe coz the babe have zapped away all my beauty!.. waahahahahhaa...... as nonsense as it sounds, i'd like to keep that happy tot juz so to assure myself that being ugly for the last 7mths and the coming months is all worth it!...hahhahaa.... oh! and we sure as hell ate a lot on this day!.... 4 houses plus dinner with the in-laws at the East Coast hawker center!... the babe must surely be very contented, full and happy inside!!... oooooh!!... can i also say that the bbq wings we had at there is superbly delicious!... i'm salivating juz blogging abt it!... damn!... met Joy and hubby there too... and oooooh... laaaa... laaaa...... tak lama lagi, babe!..... ur pictures dun do justice to ur still petite frame!.... :) anyways, wishing u a safe and smooth delivery process.... can't wait to see ur pistachio!....

Yesterday was spent at home!... (at last, i get to rest my feet!!.... my feet dah mintak ampun, youuuuu!!) Nyai and the 2 bibiks came over and we had satay!.... yum! yum!..... and they got really excited when they figured out how to see the 3D scan of the babe!... hah!... oh!.... oh!... and Daddy's made plans to fly in that Indonesian masseur for my post-natal massage (or is making these plans on his next trip out to JKT)... YIPPEE!!!...... would lurrrrveee to get some pamper-me time after the delivery!.... waaaah!!... shiokness!.... i can't freakin wait!!!.....

aaaannnddd oooooh... btw, i'm soooooo freakin disappointed that John Vito and Jill are out in the FIRST leg!!.... :( they're out tooooo sooon!.... but thank god they have plans to stay together after the race!... i really do think they suit each other!!.... hmmmm..... and btw, i doubt Rob & Amber win the race!... booooo!.... but i'm still supporting them - come wat may!!.... kkekekkee...

everyone's out to the "big" meeting this morning.. so here i am, blogging abt the things that i missed out yesterday - BABIES!

Baby 1
We visited Izy on Fri.. she's not really in the pink of health coz apparently, she got herself Urinary Track Infection due to lack of water consumption.. *bummer!* will remember to drink loads of water after delivery!... and now that we've seen her babe in person.. we know who he resembles... hahahhaa.....

luckily he's not overweight as suspected by the gynae at one point but he's got jaundice when he first popped. but i'm sure he's recovering lah... he's oredi darker than he was when he's 1day old! ;)

Baby 2
The babe in me is starting to kick, punch, move harder and furious now.. on Monday, i saw it move from one side to the other!... hahahha... how exciting!.... my tummy's been fluttering (more like a vibrating kinda feeling) and i always wonder wat he's doing inside to give me that feeling?!.. it's like he's doing jumping jacks!... hah!...

Baby 3
This third baby story is none other than who else?.. the husband ler... hehehe... see?.. he went for an interview on Monday and the panel of interviewees gave this comment - "the only issue we have with you is that you're too nice." now..... my baby?... he IS nice!... i won't deny it!.. hahahha.... but i dun think that should be too much of an issue rite?... i'm sure when it comes to work, he will be garang when he needs to be!... so i'm really hoping that they will take this Mr Nice Guy in!....

speaking of him being nice... i think that's precisely the reason y some ppl in his life are taking advantage of him!.... i simply dun understand y so and so is sooooo blardy thick-skinned as to ask him for money practically every other month!... i heard my Dearest's been getting this person's call very frequently now... Dearest have voiced out before that he cannot afford to loan the money because he's got his own financial commitments to worry abt!... like halllooooo!!.. ppl do have family issues, u know.. we know u've got urs too. but we're not ur parents. neither are we ur siblings for u to expect us to keep feeding u the moolahs without getting a single cent in return!... it is afterall a LOAN - if u know wat it means! *pfft!*

MOVED!... :D
yeay!.. we've moved at last!.. hence, the very lack of updates - no comp / broadband connection for the past 5 days siah coz i've not been to the office the past 3 days (and so, u can imagine how i've to drag myself to work this morning! *BOO!*)

anyways, for the record, let me juz jot this down - moving is NO FUN!!... it's freakin tiring esp if u've got legs like mine and a bloated tummy to go along with it!.... :( but thank god for the husband - the unpacking was practically a one-man-show... *muaaaacckss!* love u darling!!... but of course i did some unpacking!!.... unpacked all my clothes and repacked them to give away coz the cupboards juz NOT enuff to stuff all my clothes in!... even though the room is mighty huge, it seems to not able to fit all our stuffs in!... we need storage space!!....

looking at the house, i do wonder if ev'ting will be unpacked by CNY?!.... my parents have a whole load of stuffs still unpacked in one of the rooms.. hmmm... anyways, the maid came juz in time on Tuesday!... she's been helping out quite a bit - cleaning the house, unpacking our stuffs, etc... speaking of the maid, i still found it weird to have someone around the house other than my family member... i'm sooooo not used to it!.... brrrr.... it's like an invasion of privacy. hmmm.... wat to do?... have to have her around for the babe later... but i've told her not to touch our room... i've got this knack abt ppl going thru my stuffs.. i dun even let my mom clean my room!... i simply dun like it!....

overall, i do lurrrve the spaciousness the house offered and i simply adore the huge showerhead my dad installed in our bathrooms - juz that i dun understand y we have 1 big showerhead and a smaller one by the side?!.... BUT i do HATE the blardy dogs there coz they make LOADS of noise at any time of the day!!.... it's blardy IRRITATING!!.... urrrghh!!.... :(

2 SIZES BIGGER! :(
was on leave yesterday - coz i wanted to become that typical kiasu Singaporean!... heheehe... who dun want free things rite?!.... got ourselves a small convection oven and a 3-tier steamer courtesy from NTUC Linkpoints!.. hehehee..... but the only downside of this was i had to carry both the steamer and the oven all by myself!!.... terkontang-kanting aku bawak benda tu dua up the carpark!.....

after that arduous task, i made my way to McDonalds to enjoy their much-awaited morning breakfast!!..... though alone, i quite enjoyed it - gave me some "ME" time.. and then, i went straight to my hairdresser. He's such a darl!!... he gave me another seat to prop my legs up coz of my condition.... but i am such a freakin idiot for getting him to cut off 2inches off my hair!... :( now, it juz looks sooooo much shorter coz my hair curls up - and it looks even curlier now than before!!..... haaaaizzzz.....

in the afternoon, after sending some stuffs over to the new house, we went hunting for shoes... i tried on a pair of crocs but i simply could not imagine myself in them in watever clothes i have!!!.... so NOOOOOO crocs for me!.... it simply is juz toooooo FUGLY!.... i tried on Clarks thinking i can definitely get something from there. NOT! I bought my first Clarks shoe at size 7... and the biggest they have is size 8.... and i freakin can't get my feet in that size 8!!!.... :( in the end, we ended up at Pedal Works... and it's no wonder i can't fit into that size 8!... coz my feet's grown 2 sizes bigger!!!...... sheeesssh!!... i'm now a size 11! very the depressing lor!!... and i have to pay $3 more juz coz my shoe size is double-digit now!.... but at least i got 2 shoes from PW instead of juz 1 if i'd gotten myself a shoe from Clarks... :)

but niways, i discovered that my babe has begun to stretch himself more now... whenever i rest my hands on my tummy, i can feel him pushing himself against the force!... hehehhee.... i sooooooo lurve those moments!!!.... ;) i told Dearest that i think i'm gonna miss those kicks, punches and stretches he does in the tummy once he's pop!!..... i was lying on my side at nite and he did something ticklish.. and i do believe that i actually felt his tiny fingers ran thru my tummy!... hahahhaa... am i disillusioned?!....

MATCH-MADE?
eeeeks!.... i wanted to write this sooner but was too busy and sleepy to write!.. but ev'time i look at my blogspot, i get depressed juz by looking at my tree-trunked legs!... :(

anyways, the doc reminded me that i've got abt 10more weeks to delivery!.... wow!.. tat's freakin fast!.... i didn't realise it till he kept taunting me with "10 more wks! 10 more wks!"... uuurrrrggh!!..... and i can bet, he'll taunt me every other day at every opportunity he gets!.. pantat!..... not tat i'm not looking forward to it.. but i'm nervous as hell abt the actual delivery!... yet, at the same time, i'm juz as excited abt welcoming our babe to our world!!..

oh!.. there's a bit of an exciting news actually... i heard that one of my maternal male cuzzin is willing to get to know one of my paternal female cuzzin... hehehe... which one??.... *secret!*... anyways, it's interesting how my this male cuzzin is asking his mom to find him a wife!.. i dunno if he can't be bothered or he seriously is one mama's boy.. i freakin can't imagine my bro going up to my mom and ask her to find him a wife!... hahahahha... tat'll be such a laff!!!.....

and i also found it amusing how easily mummy supports my cuzzins to have a boyfriend / girlfriend at their age (btw, they're younger than my bro) but how darn difficult it is for her to accept the fact that my bro should also be out actively looking for one!.. hahhahaa.... now, tell me - is this a typical mother's trademark or wat?!....

will i be like that??... hmmmm.... but i do feel protective of my bro and his choice of gf... i've so far only approved the last one he had... the rest have given me a less than impressive impression of themselves... but knowing my bro - seen one, seen all!.... it's one size fits all for him!... so, unless he brings back a minah fering (girl in tudung) or a slightly bigger-than-a-stick kinda girl, i wouldn't be surprised if mummy (or even myself!) disapproves of his choice yet again! ;)

oooooh!... it'd be soooo interesting to see how that match-making session mummy is trying to arrange works out!... hehehhee.... :p

SNEAK PEAK..
I was a busy, busy bee over the weekend!!! did our packing the whole day on Sat!... well, basically Dearest did MOST of the packing.. i was actually taking my time when i did the packing myself in the morning.. packed and watched tv at the same time - how to finish?... hehehee.....

anyways, the house is in a MESS!... boxes, clothes, junk and wat-have-yous - ALL over the tiny house!.... i do wonder how we'll ever finish packing by this Sunday!.... oh!... and because of all these packing, my legs has grown to a size of a small tree trunk!... :(

As if the huge legs are not taunting me enuff!... ppl around me were taunting me for my growing nose too!... :( sungguh depressing!!.....

After all that packing, we went to see my first niece (maternal side).. she's sooooo cuuuttee!!!.... couldn't really tell though whose face she resembles!... but both babe and mom are healthy - tat's important!!.....

My cuzzin couldn't tell me exactly how her labour experience went coz the mom won't let her... :p but wat i found soooooo farny was the fact that her husband was sleeping when she was hard at work trying to push the baby out!.. hahahahha.... apparently, they tot that the labour will be for 12hrs or so - that's wat they all say for first-time mothers! - but NOT!... the babe popped barely 6hrs after she got warded!.. he was called but he accidentally slept again.. hahhahaa.... so, lesson learnt - Dearest will stay by my side from the moment i get warded till i safely deliver the babe!.... no matter HOW freakin long my labour will take me!!... he'd better!! *wags fingers*

on our way back from sending Nyayi home, we saw this!...

i'm sure the Aunties there are very happy with their own space they can call "second home".... :) cool...

we ended the nite - supper with the married gang... had fun talking cock and catching up till 2.30am!... gosh!!..... how time flies when u're merry!... really!.... i wasn't even feeling the least sleepy! AMAZING!....

and then on Sunday, we had a sneak peak of the hse...

the house from the porch.. i really dun like the iron rod gate but heck!.. it's automatic and wider than our old house!..

the huge, wet kitchen that mummy is sooooo proud of.. this is where she'll be cooking up a storm in future, as she'd promised... i'm juz waaaaiiittiiiing for that moment... HAH!!

we have a balcony on the second floor which also leads to our TV room!... lurrrrve the airiness of the room!.... ;)

and this is our new view... first, i had NO view. Then i had parking lots as view!... now, it's trees and someone's back porch with a mini-pool!! yeay!! :D

the house is still dusty... seriously, how to move house this Sunday?!... not packed, not cleaned... hmmmm.....

and yesterday we all had fun, gritting our teeth, watching the tense match between SIN and THA!... hahhahaa.... The father-in-law reminded me not to be too excited!... errrr..... *rite!*... anyways, i can juz imagine Daddy going berserk and cursing and swearing to our boys coz frankly, they dun play all that well yesterday... but thank god they won!.. tat's all tat matters!.... so CONGRATULATIONS!.... i do wonder though WHY on earth can't they ever achieve anything at the SEA Games?!.... urrrgghh!!....

my parents and even myself thinks that his eyes will be as big and round like mine!... ehhehee.. the nose looks like Dearest's - blunt but hopefully with the help of the great-gramps, the nose will be shaped and sharpened like the rest of us!... kekkekeke...

haaaizzz... i can't stop looking at the scan!!... macam soooooo cuttteeeee!!!.... geram sekali!.. really cannot wait for him to pop!.... and i hope by then, i can settle on which name i'll name him!...
