VIT-C DEFICIENT!
I think i am officially a vitamin C deficient kid!!.... I fall sick abt 2 wks after recovering from the last one!!..... Mom is nagging abt why i'm the only one who keeps falling sick... ya-di-da-di-da.... How am I supposed to know, mom?!..... But I used to fall sick coz of my ear infection every now and then....and actually, 2 wks ago was one of the first time, i fell sick after a loong, looooong while (all thanks to Yat's, *yes, Izy, your bf*, recommendation to see this doctor in Tampines for my ear infection)....


I think this one now, is because of my bf who was sick last week!!... must have gotten it from him.... or the weather who's been pretty "unkind" recently.... or maybe it's juz plain me! - Who simply refuse to...

Was supposed to blog abt this yesterday morning..i forgot!...till i was on the MRT yesterday evening and reminded myself tat I WOULD blog abt this today!!....


Was on the MRT with Mama Rosma on Wed...and guess what??...she had to stand!...No one bothered to give her a seat!!....she's obviously pregnant and NOT fat!!!.....dumb asses!!.... How would you like it if you're pregnant, and NO one bothers to give you a seat?!..... Would you like it?.... Everybody's tired after a hard day at work...but think of the extra weight pregnant women have to carry with them, plus the same hard day at work that we all have to do?!...


I don't get it!!.....and the lady who finally gave Mama Rosma a seat, was alighting the next stop!!....bloody hell!!..... It's like, OK, the maybe the men don't get it, but the women?!.... remember, there's karma....


SINGAPORE IDOL
Hmmmm...the quality sucked big time....and really, the 3 winners yesterday, were clear winners!!..... I'm actually very surprised with how well David Yeo improved since the qualifying rounds... that Jeasse was VERY good!!...but she got the looks of being "arrogant"... Olinda, cannot deny her good voice but her character and presentation, not my type..i juz fee disconnected when she sings..


Oh well...we shall see...it's pretty interesting how it's easy for me (or us), to accept the American Idol, but readily criticise Singapore Idol for it's this and that!!... ooooh!!...how many of us actually vote in for the ones that we like (beside the idols wannabe and their own set of fans)???..... Who?! Who?! Not me lah...soooo freakin expensive siaK!!.... 50cents?!... and so far, none deserve my 50cents leh... maybe will start voting in top 10! ... hahahhaa...

the other day jubo* told me, that my unit, (read: Leen and I ) are both soft spoken people, never bang table to get anything, never push people to do something.... commented that we must do it to show others that we can do the job..??? or ... we need to get some part time EA who is an auntie and can do all the banging and pushing for us.... jubo said we cannot always employ nice ppl...... wonder... what business school jubo came from....

After abt a month of having a maid in the house, we all felt the same...while it's good to have her around the house, but it felt like there was no more privacy for us...

SLWEEEEPY WEEKEND...
I cannot believe it's Monday oredi!!...back to work i am on this fresh, hot, Monday morning! The weekend was such a blur!...Slept till 10am on Sat, went out to breakfast with dearie...came back and slept again till 2.30pm!!.....went out with dearie after his classes....and came back, wash up and slept again from 11.30pm to 11.30am!!.....


On Sunday, dearie had to work and fell sick!!....so, we stayed in....and guess wat?!...slept again at abt 4pm till 6pm!!.....ate, watched some TV and slept again!! from 9pm till this morning!!...aaaahhh!!.........the beauty of sleeping!!......felt soooo fresh!...soooo energised this morning!!........though still yawning away, but at least, my aches from my run last Thursday, is all gone!!......another week, another round of training regime!!....wooopeee!!... ;)


SOOO NEAR, YET SOOO FAR...
That medal felt soooo near yet sooo far....caught both matches semi and bronze game live on TV. Felt soooo sad at Jiawei's lost....During the semis, she looked pretty composed but I guess her opponent was better for she seemed to have a lot of competitive spirit in her....with her "chu-chu-chi"...."chi-chu-ah".....who isn't intimidated??....even I felt irritated!!...soooo loud and noisy!!...goodness!!.... And then, during the bronze match, it was obvious she was distracted... she was also too hasty in making those shots.... aaaaaah.... that bronze medal as well as that promised $250,000, out of grasp...


Oh well!!.....but from this episode, it is apparent that sports could bring people together... My guess is, everyone felt very proud that she went for the semis... there is still HOPE in Singapore sports... we have to give her credit for making it this far, as well as those who had helped her reach this... You know, others can say that we "bought" them over...but think!... if she had stayed in China, I doubt she would have much opportunities as she had here... this is a win-win situation for all of us...she made us, or at least, me, proud... no doubts abt it....

OMG!!....I'm falling in love....alll over again with CLAY AIKEN!!...am hearing his Solitaire song..getting the (good) chills hearing him sing!!.......i'm playing the song over and over again...aaaahhhhh Clay, Oh Clay, when u comin' to Singapore?!!.....


Speaking of which, it's such a pity not to have that Sadli?? guy (who's dad passed away recently) make it for the Singapore Idol..but truly respect his decision to fulfil his obligations as the head of the house, now that his dad's gone...a truly remarkable, sacrifice this guy makes!... if he's in, he would have been one of my favourites!...i have 3 favourites oredi!!....the half-negro girl (afro hair), the malay, bushy eye-brow guy (tat obnoxious-faced guy) and the Thai girl (well, i dunno the name but her name like thailand name like tat!).... these 3 are favourites!!...I hope tat the charges for voting, be it call or sms would be the same charges!!....if not...haiz...very sad.....

Do opposites really attract? If it does, there must be a lot of compromise and understanding of each other, i reckon....


Why is the divorce rate increasing by the year? Came to a conclusion that it's because partners don't know much abt each other in the first place and found out too late... what are your partner's:

- vision of a happy family?
and the list goes on and on.... i can't say that I know dearie all soooo well.... in fact, after 5yrs, it's still a learning journey for the both of us.. But somehow, with all these differences we've had, we manage to somehow get accustomed to each others' ways.. reflecting on the marriage preparation course i just attended, there's soooo many things that I've yet to know from him..


so, don't take for granted that the relationship is "fertile" coz it never would be, till it's harvested..

It's juz freakin amazing how one can be soooo irresponsible and put the blame on someone else, when it's obviously his/her mistake!!......Others have entrusted you with their documents and stuff to settle but somehow, along the line, you lost or misplaced it and wouldn't take the blame for it!!....


It's also another wonder for me, how one, after a few yrs in the company, still do not know how things are run, tat there's an imbalance of workforce on Saturdays *well, obviously, someone's not been coming in on Saturdays!* and tat no one likes the way that one person, handle the work!.....You can't even manage your unit, consists of 2 staff, and you want to manage another unit?!........PuuUUh-leeeease!!.....dream on......


Why do I have to put up with all these shit at work?!....all these power hungry ppl, should juz *poof*! These is yet another saga at this place!!.......it used to be such a wonderful, friendly environment to work in....until.............

Would like to say my congrats to the 3 infamous couples - emiliAduka, Ms Sinus and partner, and Ms "The Girl came back with 1 tooth LESS" and partner!!...weeeeeee....!!!......we have juz finished the marriage preparation course yesterday and gotten our certs!!.... *dah bleh kawen! yeay! yeay!*...hahahhaa.....everybody in the Theatrette were in high spirits!!....highlight of the day:


1. Chairman: When you go up on stage, we'll call the guy's name. Pls remember to bring along your...errrr...."whatever it is"..on stage..... (how dare he!!)

2. Our female vocalist wasn't that vocal yesterday...maybe it's because of her red shoes?...it ain't a jennifer-hudson, girl! ;p
3. Mr Yellow slept during the sex topic!!.....the guys expected, he's a goner!...hahahha...but amazingly, he didn't sleep on the last topic...most likely, for fear of geting a scolding from the lecturer; who, by the way, is one hellaofa "story-teller"...soooooo boring!!......

It felt like yesterday tat RosmAman announce her pregnancy!...and she's oredi into her last trimester!... Soon, we'll be able to see Wati's and Aman's "creation"... ;) Very, very fat, chubby, active, comot baby girl!...hahhaha...all the characteristics that Wati's having..of course the fat and chubby's from the doc, himself!...


A few days ago, heard on the radio that Mak Jah, an ardent RIA listener have passed away..it felt like juz a few days ago, before the news, that i heard her on the radio, so lively and cheery - her usual self!....very sad, upon hearing the news of her death...it's like wat?...did i seriously think that she's gonna live forever, and ever?..hah!....oh well....she's like a celebrity on the radio, always calling in, but of course, not to the extent of irritation!....and she's always soooo cheery, always being teased abt her chickens and ducks at the kampong..(she stayed at a kampong in JB, u see)..haiz.....rest in peace, mak Jah...may Allah watch over your soul...


It's been abt a yr and a half that i've had my BA Mass Com cert!...but still not making full use of it!...where am i now?...still stuck at this place, doing the same freakin job and being paid peanuts!!.....aaaaaahh!!......it's soooooo depressing!!.....it's sooooo painful thinking of the time spent on getting this degree and the thought that the cert is not worthy afterall!.... *sob! sob!*...

SHOPPING!!.......
I couldn't believe we had missed out the "fun" at OG, Orchard Point!...You guys must have thought that we're laggards!!......darn!....anyways, me and da' Hot Mama, RosmAman, went for some shopping!.....bought my brushes, went in hunt for shoes, shoess!!......couldn't find any....we walked...and walked.......and I must say, tat 7-8mth pregnant lady sure has stamina and energy to be walking round town with that belly full of water and a baby!!......and a FAT baby at tat!!..hahahhaa.....


So, after an hr of "scouring" Taka, we went down to TCC for Wati to try out the dishes there...i shall leave it up to Wati to put up the "food" pictures she took..but I can't resist taking a picture of my drink!!....

tried their "Mighty Joe Young"...initially, it tasted like there's too much Banana or something..but after tat, it's actually, quite likeable!!..hahahaa....and it's got nice presentation...




After dinner, our luck changed for the better!....found Vivie shoes!!....wooooPeee!!....the ones in the mags, looked soooo freakin nice...but the ones at OG...errrrrmmm..but maybe they need to blend with OG's image??...maybe different outlets, different designs??.....hahahhaa...Got one shoe for myself and they've got Dorothy Perkins!.....annnnnd, got myself a $16 tube dress - a real bargain! and a 3/4 fitting pants at half price!!!...... coming out very high and happy siah!!...we vow to go again next mth!...they shld be having a sale coz it's their anniversary! ;D


But at the taxi stand, the stewpid taxi drivers simply do NOT wish to come in to the taxi stand!!..we waited at Specialist Centre....waited and fucking waited for a half fucking hr!!....and NONE came!!....went to Hotel Phoenix and waited outside...10mins later, Wati got a cab...i waited..fuck!...dial a cab!....a min later, 2 cabs passed!!.......by the third one, i hailed..got in and NEVER pick up my hired cab's call!!...chicken!!...hahhahaha....fuck lah!!.....i waited for like the past fucking hr, and never got one, and suddenly, after i called for one, i got it in like 5mins?!...nabey!.....and amidst the wait and the walk and the wind, i lost one of my newly bought, favourite ear-rings!!!!.....FUCK!....double FUCK!

Watched this episode yesterday and Kerri was questioning - why is it that we can never be friends with our ex(es)?.....hmmm...interesting....firstly, i don't have any ex(es), except for one!.....and i'm pretty good friends with him ie we can still talk civilly to each other... but wat happened to those "friends" whom i've met and hurt or be hurt?....where have they gone to??.....errrrrmmmm....... how many of us can say that we're really friends with our ex(es) and/or our baggages??....hell!...not me!!......if it's not for him who still wants us to be friends, i think we won't be good friends now....i supposed it's harder to accept an ex who had hurt us before than to accept an ex whom we hurt before.....oh well!!......this sex and the city serials has been driving me nuts abt all these questions on relationships!!....

There was a time when this girl used to sit with us but yesterday, she simply refuses to do so juz because......we sit in front row!!...oh well!!.....we have conspired to write this tale abt her on me blog....and so, we asked why is she in denial?? We do not know....but one thing's for sure, she loveeeed our company coz she juz can't leave us after every break!....she waits, and waits till the very last minute before the lecture starts and then, she scoots off to her chair somewhere at the back, to sit alone, in her lil bubble....with no one to talk to, to joke around and to keep her awake the whole day....awwwwww...ani, ani.........kesian kau.... heheheeh.....


COMPLAINTS! COMPLAINTS!

Went for that second round of marriage prep course and the girls have arrowed a A-list hated, female vocalist in the group - Ms Jennifer-Hudson wannabe who speaks with a slang...picture this - read "exam-ple" with an "O" shape in your mouth as you end the word ie at "ple"...and pucker your lips....


and then, the guys have impressed us by bitching about Mr Yellow-shirt-AGAIN....he slept practically throughout the day, sleeping at different, unimaginable positions and suddenly "Wham! Bam!"....he gave the audience his participation...he said thru' the microphone "99.9% of the decision making, lies with the husband!"......nak kena tumbuk eh, bang?! I would think, amidst his sleep, he was suddenly given this wahyu or something!....the guys' betting that that'll be his one and ONE and ONLY participation for the entire course PLUS he's wearing that yellow-shirt again this Sunday....if he does, that yellow shirt is his official uniform for this course!....


And then, there's this Mr Late-Comer lecturer who was late last week (his excuse - "I normally take a stroll at East Coast Park on Sunday mornings...").....and yesterday, his excuse was "I was on the way back from JB after a talk and I got stuck in the jam for 2 hrs!"....note: his session is in the afternoon!.......like DUH!!....so wat?!...u expect us NOT to be late, mister!.....and you were LATE!!....if you're the student, that's fine!....but u're the lecturer!!.....tat goes to show sooo much of your interest on us! ;p


And after class, we wanted to go see the fireworks at esplanade!...we should have known better!!...got stuck in the freakin jam for an hour!! from ECP exit Rochor all the way to Raffles City!!....at last, decided NOT to go for it coz we were sure as hell, we won't be able to get a parking space ANYWHERE!..... blegh!!......but sempat to take pictures of ourselves on the way!... ;D

1. Has one of the most AMAZING fireworks put together EVERYTIME!!
2. It's pretty safe unlike our fellow neighbouring countries..
3. Our very interesting culture of queing, singlish and the ever kiasu ppl around town - I doubt you'll get these in other places!!


My or my!....39 yrs!!......all these building up the nation has given us all these wonderful sights, opportunities and wealth!......But of course, along with all these successes, it has made us kiasu ppl ie very inconsiderate for fear that you won't be the BEST here...only the BEST can go through the rat race, TOP!....and that's the only one thing I despise most Singaporeans for! They have forgotten to be considerate, to be courteous to others and be humble!.....


SINGAPORE IDOL
These are the nation's hopefuls - to be the first Singapore Idol!....watched it and was sooooo amazed at their amazing "thickness of their skin"! WOW!!......I think the most hilarious of the lot was the guy with no voice!...hahahahha...and he looked damn freaky sincere!!......followed by the guy who gets permission for his singing and wanting to move about!.....hahhahaa...and of course, you have the 2 idiots who were there to waste air-time!........Lemon Tree!..yah rite!...next William Hung wannabe!....Achieved that alrite!.....and then, the guy with that yellow underwear!.....eh-DUHH!.....go strip somewhere else!...u don't have a nice bod or a cute butt in the first place!!!......

It's Saturday oredi!!.......and at the end of it some more!!.....tomorrow, another wedding prep course to attend and on Monday, is the nation's bday, and BACK to work on Tuesday!!.......it feels like such a looooong weekend ahead just yesterday but today, the time seemed sooooo short!!.....oh well!!.....we'll just make do with the time given!


The two idiots on the express lane at Carrefoure!....who the fuck do they think they are huh?...arseholes!!.....it's supposed to be an express lane!....10 items BELOW stated sooooo clearly, in bold on top of the cashiers' heads!!....are they blind or they just don't care?!!....fuck these ppl!...they had like 20 over items totaling $123.55!!!....the cashiers shld be given the "right" to tell them off and make them queue up on another lane!!.........the cashier looked pissed, alrite!.....nabey!!.....i was oh-sooooo on the verge of telling them off!!...but they got their just deserts when the lady tried to reverse her trolley and in the process knocked her head on a board that had a poster in it..(can imagine what i'm describing here??)...


I'm hooked on Sex and the City!!.....the scriptwriters marvelous!!!......the lines are freakin witty and just hilarious!!....it's not all sex!!....well, it is!...hahhahaa...but it's errrmmmm.....witty sex talk and some lessons to learn abt relationships....and yup!....kerri's always right!..haahahaa...and the 4 girls combined, it just gives different perspectives on sex and relationships! ;) LOVE 'EM!

TCC!!



Met up with my 2 girls, yesterday to TCC - AGAIN!...hahahahhaa..... ;) 2 days in a row!....i'm NOT hooked, but juz helping Tee to make use of his coupons!!....anyways, on Wednesday, went shopping and couldn't help but buy, buy and buy stuffs!!...I SHOULD STOP myself!!! :(!...... a new bag, 2 new quilt covers, 2 pairs of new ear-rings, a pair of shoes!! ooooh!...and we saw this Hulk Hogan look-alike!...it's NOT hulk hogan - i know!....been watching wrestling since dunno when!...but he sure as hell looked like a wrestler with that freakin huge built!....should have just taken a picture with him rite??.....hehheh...


Yesterday, went to Holland V and wat a HAPPENING place?!!....it's been a while since i've last been there and freak ass!! - sooooo lively at nite!!.....i loike!!...but too bad i didn't bring my camera!!...brrrr!!...brrr!!.....freaky shit!!....haiyah!!...was just "berangan-ing" to take a picture of Pei fetching me in her BM!!....aiyah!!....first time sit in BMW must be jakun, k?!....hahahhahaa......next time, ah Pei....and next time, no excuses not fetching me at work hor!....u know the way oredi!!...hehehehe.....

i'm back to the office after a de-stress session with da' "kuniang" and weileen!.....but aiyah...dun feel like story-telling coz no pictures!!.....forgot to bring my camera!!...aaaarggh!!....boring!!.......


but had great fun shopping and eating and relaxing, yesterday!!! ;)

TUMBLING TREES!
Went to work and the road was blocked on the other side because of a fallen tree!...it covered all 3 lanes and it's pretty freakin scary!!..... Why are the trees falling?...one after another you'll hear about roads blocked by fallen trees...y eh???.....

MELAYU BARU!

A TIRING and FULL WEEKEND!



Wat a weekend!....The weekend started with Friday's kenduri for late grandpa's 7th day of his passing... After the kenduri, food was served a truly Javanese way...the nasi ambeng with loads of dishes on top of the rice!...too bad, i didn't have the cam with me!...would have taken a shot of the food!....


And then, had BBQ last nite with freakily gooood food!!.....Future MIL's chicken percik is wonderful to the max! :) love, love lurrrrrve the CHICKEN!!...we went back only at abt 12am!!...and this morning, had to wake up freakin early to go for our wedding course!...GOSH!..and the freakin alarm didn't go off on the time that i had set!....bloody hell!...woke up late, and had to freakin rush ourselves!!...luckily, managed to be on time!...brrrrr.......but i have to say, i enjoyed the lessons taught though both the lecturers today are quite a "SLEEP-MAKER"!!..really made us wanna sleep!!...aduka and saharil (did i get your spelling rite?..hahha) slept abt half the day i think!....at least i was pretty fresh the first part of the morning, unlike after tat wonderful lunch they serve (or well, at least we don't get packet lunch!...heheh..), I konked out!....dozing off 3/4 of the time!...couldn't understand all the technicalities, surahs and wat nots have you.....waaaaaah!....but a few highlights to share nonetheless with my Muslim brothers and sisters......


1. Ladies, remember that washing, cooking and ironing are NOT our responsibilities. Guys, be thankful that we want to do this for you!....You marry us and not a MAID!...
2. Ladies, do look good for your hubby and NOT for OTHERS!...btw, just to be bitchy here...there's this lady who was pretty worked up when the guys wrote down that keeping in shape and be fit is a wife's responsibility..she wrote "perut mesti maintain - no belly please" with a red star and underlined....errrrm...the irony is - look at yourself first, sista!!... ;)
3. Guys, mas kahwin is a WAJIB in Islam..a gift for your wife..also to take note that wateva wealth she brings into the unionship, you are not allowed to take them away from her or watsoever! But you are still required to give nafkah, even though you may not afford it later, eg if you're out of job...give wat you can afford eg you may have to part with that beloved bike, or wateva other assets that can be liquified ie wat God has given you..as the saying goes, quoted by Yana - "Your $$, our $$, my $$, my $$"!... ;)


There's a few others...lazy for me to go take out the book..but these are just the few ones which I find pretty amusing...will share more coz there's 2 more Sundays to go!! .....
