u see, there's this being in this organisation who thinks too highly of itself. Juz coz it is one of the higher paid with a "higher" post in the organisation, it thinks it is a know-it-all!... bleagh!...

c'mon lah.. u're soooo highly paid for doing N.O.T.H.I.N.G coz all u ever do is delegate, delegate, delegate! it was supposed to be UR job to send out the blardy email but u delegated it to us instead. After sending out the email in reply, no word of thanks! Instead COMPLAINTS, COMPLAINTS and COMPLAINTS!.... gaaaaah!!!...

if u're sooooo damn good, y don't u do it urself, damn it?!.. i've heard stuffs abt u.. i know what u're "capable" of - Z.I.L.C.H!... u can't even do a single job - which is actually ur main blardy job scope - properly!... bodoh!... so y are we paying it sooooo much??!!!.....

i really dunch know!... but for sure it will be here for long and enjoying the "privileges" of being on a pedestal.. i'll be praying for the day tat pedestal breaks so that it will come back down to earth and realise that being humble is not such a bad thing afterall!..

i surrender... my raya sakan-ing in officially over as of yesterday... i cannot take it anymore.. i've stuffed myself with good food and even greater company over the past few weeks... i'm now bloated and wat was a quite longgar (loose) baju kurung on the first day of raya is now a quite ketat (tight) baju kurung.. bleagh!!

so who did we meet yesterday??....

how can u not melt when u see this boy with his 5 small teeth smiling widely at you??.. and thank god Eshan and him seemed to be able to get along.. :) later when Eshan begin crawling, Rayyan will be walking oredi.. tat'll be quite hilarious if they play "Catching".. hahahhaa...

we also went to see our god daughter, Syaza Atifah... aiyoh!!.... i missed both her and mother who's now in her 25th wk of pregnancy!... and who knows?... it's another girl!... :) like they say, there's always another time... jangan tak jadi har... hehehee.... ;)

So we did raya sakan this yr, but still not as much coz we still have not covered some houses yet.... haiizzz... to whose house we didn't manage to visit, maap ler byk2.. really got no time and energy to do anymore house visiting marathon!..

THE PINKIES JALAN RAYA
out of sheer coincidence and for the first time in our entire 9yrs of friendship, we don our baju kurung in shades of pink!...

it was freakily hilarious when we all gathered at Bai's house and found that all of us decided to be pinkies this raya!... so off we went zipping around the island - literally from one end to the other - like one big happy family!.. hahahhaa.... the first and probably not the last coz Naz was like sooooo enthu abt doing this again next raya... errrrrrr........

we visited Umi Ayu and the new-born babe... the babe is sooooo cute and small... it feels like yest i carried my 2.75kg Eshan!... now that he's almost or already 8kg, 3kg Siti Nur Alawiyah felt so fragile and light as a feather!...

ayu warned not to put Eshan and lil Fauzi together for fear lil Fauzi may hit him... but in the end, my Eshan hit him instead... *sorry ye abg Fauzi!*

my raya is almost complete... a few more houses to go and i'm done!... YEAY!....

on to non raya updates, i pass my make-up exam!.. yeay!!..... i got a B.. one would think a B is very good oredi lor.. but their B is only an average mark!.. pantat!!..... so, it's not that good afterall... bleagh!... the girl told us only 1 got Distinction.. and the teacher told us majority get Bs coz they won't give away As easily!.. chet!!...

Eshan can now "walk" albeit backwards in his walker!.. yeay!!... so, he won't be as bored as before in that walker of his!... he is also able to sit more steadily now though not for too long... and on Sat, he had his first fall!... my god!... my heart was at my throat when i saw him on the floor wailing!.... he fell off our bed!... but thank god, he fell not coz he was rolling rolling round the bed... he was gostan-ing and somehow landed a soft fall... i didn't hear a thud or anything like that so i'm presuming he fell that way.. i felt soooo guilty falling back to sleep!!....

checked his whole head to find a bruise or wateva - nothing!... he also cried a bit only... after i carried him around, he stopped crying... my boy's a strong boy.. thank god!!... hehehee... mama's boy is a big boy oredi!... ;)

HE'S STILL THE BEST!
who??.... Taufik lah!... hehehhee..... his performance last nite beat the rest of the finalists of Live the Dream!... he definitely got a standing ovation and the loudest clap from moi! Go Taufik Go!... ;)

anyways, i've got to say, tat Very Teruk boy has gotta be the WORST finalist in the entire history of singing competitions in Singapore - reality or not!... i think we can get better singers and performers at those CC competitions!...

the judges chose the most simplest song for him and yet he failed to deliver... both songs were less than average performance and it's supposed to be a National competition!... ????!!!!!..... freak!... with his lembek voice and even lembek face!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang...

u see, i didn't wanna vote at all initially but i juz cannot bear the tot of tat Very Teruk boy possibly winning the competition!... geezz.... so, i gave in to the temptation and i'd like to think that my 1 of 2 votes for Shrek boy played a part in his win!... hehehehe....

so Congrats to the winners of last nite Live the Dream... i hope there wouldn't be anymore 100%-voting-power-to-SGeans-singing-competition from TCS5 coz we juz aren't ready for it!.. i'm sure Ken was praying very hard for Shrek boy and his level of sarcasm for tat Very Teruk boy was tip top!... after the winner is announced, baru muka dia ada senyum... :)

IT'S ALL ABT HIM..
it's been a week plus since i last left an entry here... been very busy at work... yeah!.. u heard me right.... me = busy ???? hahahhaa....... serves me right for telling the boss i'm freakin free and bored to death!.... gaaaaah!!!.....

anyways, i decided to take a teensy weensy break this morning juz to update this ol' blog of mine!.... it's getting dustier by the day!.... and it's time i fill up my entry with pictures of my son!.. hehehhee.... ;)

so... let's see.... as u may have already guessed... our theme this year is PINK... goooooo Pinkies! ;) it's Eshan's first Raya and thank god i insisted on getting him his baju kurung coz he loook sooooo darn cute in it!... hehehhee.....

too bad he's still too small to don the songkok and the samping... next year, k boy?.... *muaaackss!*

we were over at the BIL & SIL's place and test-drive this bouncy thingie on Eshan and look at him - merrily bouncing away!!... wat a difference with him at home in his walker!....

oh!... and his current interest now is watching soccer!.... we noticed it a few times - he'll be quiet and watching the tv in concentration everytime Dearest plays soccer on his PS2.. only now did i get the chance to catch him in action!

and over the weekend, the boy had to squeeze 3 balls of poo out of his small *tooot* in the morning... soooo kesian when i see his red face and crying in pain... and juz on Sat itself, he pooed three times!.... aiyoooyooo..... but anyways, since his stools are hard nowadays, i've instructed the maid to give him plain water (feeding him off the spoon since he dun like it in the bottle) every hour...

and who knows, he prefers to get it straight from the cup instead!!....

he drank it like it's some sweet juice or something!... oh!.. in case u're wondering why the "cup" has such a wide mouth, that's a bowl!.. hahaha..... hopefully, with this, his poo condition will improve...

btw, i'm freakin fat from all the hari raya goodies and good, fattening food served at every house!... BUT i'm toooooo lazy to move my fat a$$ to the gym!.... heeellllppppp!!!!..... oh!!... btw, i did meringue for Hari Raya... me and bro hated it but the rest of the family + every other person who visited and tried the meringue loved it!!... i dun quite understand why!...

it was all gone on the first day of Raya... i actually had to make a second round! i got the original recipe from the girl who paints her kitchen red.. but i'm calling them Cornflakes Choc Chip Meringue. happy trying! ;)

BAJU, BAJU WHERE ART THOU?
I still have not gotten my baju for raya yet.. have to call the lady up.. hopefully, it's ready or at least would be ready to be collected on Wednesday!... sheesh!.... the intent to search for another baju is put on hold after MIL told us abt her episode with a pick-pocket while she was at First Lady..

not that she caught the guy doing it but she was a victim in this episode. they (the pick-pockets) are a skillful bunch aren't they?... i wonder how long they take to master the "art" of pick-pocketing?... the amazing thing is, the guy manage to open my MIL's bag and take out juz the wallet and zip it back up without her realising it!

tat's y, i never carry a lot of cash with me... i think at most, i have only $20 in my wallet... coz NETS is avail everywhere that it's soooo much more convenient than carrying loads of cash around!.. so to all ladies and gents out there, pls be careful this festive season. Esp the ladies - if it's not necessary to carry a handbag, don't!...or practice "separating" ur money.. don't put all ur cash in the wallet. scatter it around in all ur available pockets..

okies.. more on Hari Raya... in juz one sunday, my house have turned into a mini cookies-for-sale-warehouse!... my gosh!.. the amt of cookies, tarts, biscuits, makmur, we did this year!... amazing!.... well, this yr got nyai in the house.. so can expect more peeps to come!... it's been a while since we actually have truck-loads of ppl coming to the hse...

since we were all in a baking mood and there were more ppl in the hse, urs truly whipped up egg tarts for the family. this time, with the combination of my 2 favourite recipes... it was a hit!.. and i juz can't stop taking in more!!... gosh!....

I'm calling it "My Special Egg Tart" coz it's custom-made juz for moi!.. heheheh... ;)

anyways, we have started giving Eshan rice cereals since he turned 6mths last week!... and al-hamdulillah, he's taking it quite well... he wants more and more which is good.. :) we have also been giving him plain water in a spoon. tat's the only way for him to drink plain water!... he perspires buckets whenever it gets too hot. and he cannot sleep without the air-conditioning!... aiyoh!.... soooo worried he'll get dehydrated one fine day if he doesn't get enough water per day!... but now, the only thing left to train him is to sit in that walker or bumboo chair of his!... he simply refused to sit for more than 5mins!... and when he do, he'll give me this kesian face...

ANOTHER ADDITION..

Congratulations to Ayu for the delivery of her second bundle of joy!... after 2 whole days in the hospital, 2 pills insertion and only 3cm dilated, a caesarian operation had to be conducted to deliver this cutie pie..

waaaahh!!.... anak kau sungguh the tembam!... macam nak gigit2 tu pipi! and at last, we've broken the spell.. a girl at last!.. YEAY!!....

Did i say i'm addicted to baking?.. hmmm.. yah.. i am!... now that Raya is fast approaching the mood to bake is more apparent!.. i can't remember where i got the recipe from.. but i remembered getting excited over it when i found it!

i needed to know how outrageous this cookie is.. as it turns out, it was OUTRAGEOUSLY chocolatey so much so that the family found it rather jelak.. but i kinda like it coz it's nice and quite a soft cookie.. hahaha... i dunno how to explain it.. u've gotta try it to know it.. ;) but the next time if i do it, i'll pipe it smaller so that it's less jelak!..

SOOOOO BZ AH??...
waaaah!!... this is wat happens when u tell ur boss that you've got NOTHING to do!.. suddenly got sooooo many things to do!... aiyoh!!..... and i simply hates it when Ms Mono tries to be "helpful" when really, she's NOT!... if u wanna help, make sure u know wat to do, pls!... oh!.. and to illustrate how helpful she can be, not only would she pick up the EA's phone calls.. she picks up the hp for the EA too!.... grrrrr..... she better make sure she keep her hands off my 2 phones!...

we learnt to do ear candling on Tues.. and wow!.. i'm hooked after i see the wax tat came off my 2 ears!.... i did it on Dearest and he's hooked too!... ahhahaha..... anyone wants me to do for them for a minimal fee?.... let me know!!!.... ;)

0h!... after "Live the Dream" put me at the edge of my bed, waiting in anticipation as to which group and soloist is gonna be out, they say NO ONE will be out!.. pantat!... buat suspense jer!.... but plsssss lar... at least the girl attempted to improve... the Very Teruk boy still like tat!... sungguh tak menyelerakan!... but i'm pretty sure he was almost peeing in his pants last nite... he don't possibly think that he could outplay Shrek-boy would he?... gaaaaah!....

and to that Very Teruk boy's fans, in case you didn't watch it last nite, i'll echo and quote Ken's comments "If my son wants something expensive from me, i will always think first if he deserves it. In this context, I hope your fans will think twice if you deserve this dream that they are purchasing for you..." pedaaaassss nyah!!!

yah... i know... hahahhaa.... ;) anyways, the meet up with the gang was great!.. i lurrrrve the food.. i dun think Ms Sinus did though!.. hehehehe.... went to Eatzi Gourmet @ Yishun Safra after salivating over pictures on Kak Yani's website!...

i had salmon and boneless chicken... YUMMMMEH!!.... i lurve that saltish thingie on top of the potato... their serving is humongous... was very full after the meal.. and i'll definitely go there again!!.... hahaha...

Ilhan met Eshan but Ilhan seemed shy.. for god knows why?!... nvm eh boy.. still got time.. as long as u don't hit my child on his head again, we're cool!... ;) thanks to these peeps for taking care of Eshan while Dearest & I devoured and enjoyed every single piece of edible food on our hotplate minus the chicken skin..

Eshan went for his 5mth jab and thank god he didn't get fever after the jab.. i think it's coz he got to sleep soundly after his jab... normally, we will be out window shopping!... hehehee... not cranky at all.. so thank god!!.... al-hamdulillah...

anyways, to show to us that he wasn't weak at all.... take a look at this pic..

if u still can't see what i see, it's ok.. it's actually normal.. coz both Dearest and my brother couldn't see it until i point it out... so here goes...

sesungguhnya anak aku gagah... hahahaha... we don't understand how on earth he manage to pull the body out of it's "sockets"!.... and it actually looked soooo eerie seeing a dangling head on top of his playpen!...

oh!... did u see how we've cushioned his playpen all around??... he knocked himself on the eye while rolling abt... it must've been pretty hard coz he cried out in pain and his right eye was red and a lil bit swollen with a bit of scar.. sheesh... tat got Dearest to cushion the playpen rite away... should've immediately done tat when he knocked himself once before.. kwang.. kwang.. kwang..

since i'm in a bake-muffins mode, over the weekend, i manage to bake not one, not two but three types of muffins!... they're filled with chocolate but with different fruits... but they're all different recipes from different sources..

Strawberry & White Chocolate Muffin, Orange & Dark Chocolate Muffin & Banana Choco Chip Muffin
oh!.. trust me.. when u see the original "creators", u'd be just as tempted to try out them recipes!

i like the Strawberry combi the best though i can't taste the white chocs.. the strawberry was a bit too much too... must reduce a bit lah... I dun like dark choc but the combi with orange was nice.. though i would change it to semi-sweet choc chips next time!.. ;) the banana choco muffin on the other hand was pretty banana-like.. i dun like how it turned out all dark and soooo unappetising looking.. but it's actually nice lah... the family savoured all of them muffins in one nite!...
