EXAMS Results, MANGO and Menstrual Problems!

Today, felt very happy for my dear, dear fiance!....hehhehehhe....his results were out and he passed all the papers with reasonably flying colours!....so, juz had to go treat him to dinner!....we went to Swensons at Parkway Parade. FuuuuuYooooooh!!!......soooo freaking full rite now!!!........we decided to try out the Earthquake and that was like a BIG mistake!!......that made me feel soooooo full and guilty!!....the nuts, the fudge, the 8 scoops of ice-cream, the cream, and all other stuff as toppings!!......Oh My GOD!!!.......very the kenyang!.......

But well, will be very, very determined NOT to have ice-cream for the next 2 weeks!!...AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!...................Will not only NOT spend on ice-cream, will try very, very hard NOT to shop for the stuff which was not on my list in the first place!!.....Me and Naz went to Mango today during lunch and I bought 2 tops!!!....actually, can't decide to buy a small-T or a tube....i took away the small-T coz it WAS small!!...hahhahhaa...not sure when I'll be "slim" enuff to wear it!.....i wanted to buy the tube BUT thought twice abt it bcoz i won't be wearing the tube openly, will always cover it with a cardigan.....so, i don't think it was worth to buy that piece for $23 though it was tempting coz it's the first tube which stays put at it's place!!!......and then, Naz had this spaghetti strap with zipper in front....it look soooo nice esp with the princess cut thingie at the sides!!....so JUZ had to buy them!!......So this month, all in all, I spent $84 - 2 bags and 2 tops at Mango!....NOOOOOO!!!!.............can't buy anymore...told Naz NOT to bring me into MANGO anymore!!.........can't afford!!....though, the pink top that I bought w/o second thoughts is very, very nice...and I wished that I can buy another piece of another colour.....BUT neh!!...........NO MORE!!!

Anyways, the other day, I read an article in ezyhealth about menstrual problems. Ladies, pls take note of these problems:

1. Menstrual Cramps (Dsymenorrhea)
Cramps are painful muscle spasms in the lower abdomen just before and during mestrual bleeding. Factor most likely to be causing this pain - excess production of protaglandins; hormone-like substances that cause contractions of the uterus during menstruation and labour. It is common for these pain to persist during one's reproductive years; but many women find that menstrual cramps become milder after they have had a baby.
BEWARE: Underlying conditions such as endometriosis, an infection, growths in the uterus or by menstrual cycles in which no egg is produced.

2. Missed Periods (Amenorrhea)
Missed periods may be common among all women but it should be investigated if any previously menstruating woman misses three or more periods (regardless of her cycle length).
BEWARE: It may indicate, for example, low levels of estrogen in your system that may put you at a greater risk of developing osteoporosis. At other times, it may occur after use of the contraceptive pill, or it may be a symptom of anorexia. IMPORTANT note: lack of menstruation indicates failure to ovulate = cannot become pregnant.

3. Heavy Periods (Menorrhagia)
Unusual heavy blood loss may be caused by use of an IUD, by small, non-cancerous growths in the womb known as fibroids - an infection of the womb or uterine tubes, or a hormone imbalance.
BEWARE: May cause iron deficiency anemia.

4. Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)
This is what most guys don't understand...
PMS is the name given to the set of symptoms that begin a short time before menstruation. Primarily caused by an alteration in the balance of female hormones during the menstrual cycle.
Symptoms:

f. water retention
g. weakness
