i'm soooooo dead beat over the weekend - not because i was doing anything!.... i wasn't really doing anything over the weekend except having a Sex and the City marathon and playing my SIMS....
And playing SIMS is fanatically FUN but oh-soooooooooo-addictive that i've been sleeping at 3am for the past 3 nites!.....
ooooooh... almost forgot!...... my weekened was also spent getting all HOT and excited over that Muzika Extravaganza on Saturday!.... all the artiste were HOT and definitely talented but the one that certainly SIZZLES is none other than the 2 idols on stage - Taufik and Jaclyn!.... OH DEAR GOD!! - they're freakily talented... my jaws definitely dropped and they deserve my standing ovation after their performance... they certainly deserve the coveted title.. and i'm oh-sooooo-proud of Taufik for putting up that brilliant performance of "Let's Stay Together" and singing a mini 30s duet (of Sinaran) with Siti... i would be darn proud of myself if i ever get to that stage
But anyways, the show in total is NOT as VaVaVoom as it sounded like.... maybe because of it's formality?... juz look at the audience who came - most came in evening wear (except for the obit Datin!.. hahahhaa...) and the only people who scream was Taufik's fans!..... errrrr... i think if it weren't for them, the show would lagi be dead!...
in a star-studded show with music sooooooo hyper and upbeat, it should be one more lively and relaxed lah.... suggestion: expo or The Rock, perhaps? Or hand out MORE bloody tickets... c'mon - which Mediacorp (or other) artiste would actually scream or shriek when they see another artiste on stage? artiste mesti mau maintain mah!..... soooooo, how else would we get the place screaming with excitement??... real, ordinary, non-artiste FANS of course!!....
but no doubt, it WAS a show worth waiting for.. artistes came out in style, with lots of talent, singing their songs LIVE!.. so, let's see if they're keeping up this "tradition" every year.. if they do, pls don't have the 2 GOH go up the stage to salam everyone.. and then, leave them standing, clapping their hands with the artistes.. it's a pretty ugly sight!.... with everyone around them, shaking their booties, the 2 stood there looking as kaku (stiff) as ever!.... errrrrrr......
