I did my first ever kek lapis.. courtesy of Mummy's recipe.. did this for a colleague who's been nice to me all yr round.. hahahhaa.....Anyways, i wanted to do only 1 container but Mummy convinced me that it was a waste of time doing 1 only... so, she made me do 2!... but in the end, i felt cheated by her coz i should've juz done 1 and get it over and done with sooner!... kwang.. kwang.. kwang..
There were soooo much white eggs left over which i tot i'll make meringue with.. but in the end i didn't coz it freakin took me half the day to finish doing 2 kek lapis!!... very tiring lor mixing the ingredients by hand and sitting in front of the oven for 45mins and layering the cake one layer at a time!.... so, NO MORE!.... or perhaps once a yr only!... no wonder it cost so much to buy!..
hmmm... now, wat shall i do for the last day of class next wk?... egg tarts or muffins??... hmmm... very indecisive.. i soooo wish to try and do cupcakes with frosting.. but i'm not so confident of doing the frosting.. any nice, easy recipe for frosting, peeps?... i dun want butter cream eh... anything with whipped cream or cream cheese frosting would be great! ;) thank u!...
