Third wedding this mth!..... and it's such a beautiful, beautiful wedding!!!..... i lurrrrve the wedding soooooo much!.... heard that the bride was the planner for her own event and with the help of her bridesmaids, they managed to pull off a grand, beautiful, significant, memorable wedding - not only for themselves but for the guests as well!...
It's not your typical Chinese wedding dinner... there were no professional entertainers - just the bride's lil bro doing his bit for his sister opening the ceremony and doing all the talking.. but we were entertained from the beginning till the end!.... and bcoz i went to the wedding being a bit emotional, i teared when the lil' bro spoke volume abt his sis and expressed his love for the couple.... and i teared when the groom - doc, i'd like to call him - got emotional on stage as he expressed his thanks to his family and spoke abt his love for her!....
the groom's dad did his lil speech which turned into like an entertaining fairy-tale story telling!.. apparently, he's that talented because he's one of the famous sports broadcaster in Ireland!.... other entertaining stuff:
it was the Last Emperor kinda theme... before the banquet starts, the chief cook went up to doc to get his permission to start the feast!.... sooooo extraordinary!... hahahhaa...
the groom's bro did a lil' presentation of them since young.. very FARNY!...
there was lion dance
an Irish dance by the groom's best men. They did this dance earlier in the day during the tea ceremony before the groom was able to see the bride.
and not forgeting the "YAAAAAM SEEEENGG".... clinching of glasses......
And moi, being the only Muslim in the group, was given "special" attention / treatment... being served separately... and I tell you the menu, is supremely better than what my Chinese counterparts are having! they're like allll droooooling!... hehehehehe....
All in all, the wedding was picture perfect except for the fact that my cam's spoilt and i brought daddy's cam and his cam is hopeless in indoor setting, hence as you will see later, not many photos to be shared!!.... AND we're served by this auntie who is extremely hopeless in taking orders and not mindful of us at all!.... but all in all, had a great nite out... but a very long one at that!... and my favourite ang-moh did a very farny thing before he sets out for the dinner. He called Fullerton to ask "What is the market rate for an ang bao at your hotel?" I burst out laughing rite there and then.... the girl who answered could not answer his question.. passed it to someone else but that person's not on the desk!... so poor toddie had no answer but instead got an earful from me and another colleague for doing what he did!... hahahhahha.... he's such a laff!..
MISSING....
While preparing myself for the wedding yest, Daddy msged me..... tat sms shook me to tears..... cried and cried for five mins.... bcoz i miss him too!!!..... i miss them both!.... it has really been very lonely at home.... hmmmmmm...............
