BEING CYNICAL OR CRITICAL? OR JUST OL' PLAIN ME..
Disclaimer: now.. before you start reading this entry... i apologise if some of wat's gonna be said is overly critical or judgemental and even bitchy... dun mean to be rude or anything like that but i just have to say what's needed to be said! i can't help myself!.. bleagh!... if you think u won't be able to swallow my very honest, from the heart remarks - esp for fellow contestants of Anugerah 05 and it's supporters, i suggest, u blog-hop outta here!.. ciao!
Not too sure why i don't have the urge to watch Anugerah faithfully this year unlike previous years... but manage to catch it last nite though and damn!.. i've got a few things to say!... was feeling a tad more bitchy last nite.. and juz had to comment on every little thing..
1. how come the guys this year look sooooo like budak2 gangster like tat?... very tak menjanjikan - the look and style is oh-so-wrong!..
2. the judges looked pretty rowdy last nite... must really be having a whale of a time or probably an overdose of wannabe singers, perhaps?.. i cannot forget that "Suara Jantan!" remark... like errrr????????
3. i heard that Hafiz has been criticised over those text messaging for being very critical and over, delivering his remarks bcoz he was always seemed to criticising contestants over their style and look - like helloooooo?... ppl!... maybe that's what he is for?... 2 judges are oredi judging their singing abilities.. they need 1 to comment on the contestant's style and image - which is juz as important as their singing capabilities!..
4. overall i like the second half better than the first half but most of the first half got through.. like i said, maybe the judges had an overdose of something.. they seemed to like the fast songs better than the slow ones.. but errrr... half the time i was laughing at them!.. get the picture?
5. contestants.. contestants.. boy do i have alot to say abt the "few" of them!..
#03 - very over confident though for her age (i would think she's quite young judging by her look), she was pretty daring to be dancing (or more like prancing around) like tat!... BUT too bad, adik looked very obit!.... maap cakap.. i juz dun get that fashion sense!
#06 - unique voice i must say.. but i feel very tired watching her open close her mouth while singing.. she's like drawling or stretching her mouth in a very twisted, slow-motion style.. hmmm....
#07 - i kind of feel a bit irk when i see guys shave their eyebrows.. i know taufik most likely did.. and i lurve his eye-brows - subtly shaven.. but this guy's looked like it got shaved a bit too much and a bit salah too!.. almost like a girl's eye-brow (coz normally, guys would have quite a bit of eye-brow, don't they?).. but bro, if that's au natural - kalah pompuan u!... bless u for having nice eye-brows.. but the song a bit salah ah bro! - like tak kena gitu!.
#09 - the Ning wannabe.. can i say that? she actually did good.. no have good voice control but i'd say she definitely beat Ning with that song! but choice of song also over ambitious lah dek.. next time choose song less dramatic k?.. ;)
#10 - Mat #10 nie surprisingly good!... Look/Style very deceiving - rupanye perasaan mat-mat jugak..! sungguh ku tak jangka!..
#11 - not the eyes and the beret, brudder!.. u actually look like pakcik2 action muda, nak gi batam!.. ouch!
#12 - u dun look 17 but there's potential in your voice.. i dun understand why the judges dun see that, when they actually said it out loud!... bleaggh!.. anyways, again, choice of song girl.. too safe - sounded like very lazy singing.. maybe that's y!.. but do try again once u've gotten together your fashion sense (this came from hearing the remarks of the judges, eh!.. based on yesterday's fashion not bad but weird for a singing competition! but at least tak se-obit #03.. but i shall not think how's her fashion sense before since the judges said "your fashion has improved a lot!".. hmmmmm...) and work on that vocal chords!.. go girl!...
6. Y oh Y was the guest artist - norazela - not singing live yesterday?.... she was an Anugerah contestant so she HAS to be able to sing live isn't it?... it was a "live" performance anyway!... though not a "live telecast" - y eh?... btw?... it would be more exciting having it telecast LIVE wouldn't it??.... it IS a local production!...
so there!... results were obviously disappointing *see point 4*.. at least 3 who made it should not be in!.... but howell!... the judges' decision is final and it's really rezeki masing2.. hopefully, they'll do better in the next round - juz to de-prove my points above!... ;) good luck peepz!..
